Strange vacation

Mom and I were on a vacation and it was somewhere in the upper east coast. We were at a restaurant eating dinner and the restaurant was located on the ocean and we sat in front of a window view of it. The window and the view were very distorted so it looked like we were facing down but we weren’t, it was almost like my perception was skewed because of dizziness or the inability to ground my being. The water was dark and quite frightening and there was a rocky beach area to the far left of our view and then to the far right of our view was a huge spillway that lead up and over but I couldn’t’ see what was on the other side. There was a resort hotel located on the far left that was lit up and quite bright. At one point I could feel a thunderous movement under my feet and I peered out at the dark water I could see large very large whales of all different kinds swimming and I looked over at my mom who seemed very frightened of the experience and I told her to look out there were whales everywhere. She did but I could tell she wasn’t exactly comfortable and in all honesty I was sort of frightened because I was worried that due to my perception the building was tilted and we’d fall in towards the gigantic creatures. I soon realized I am very afraid of these “gentle giants” but I continued to watch them in awe as they made their thunderous way towards the spillway and they actually swam up it and over. Some were so big that I think they could swallow a large city bus and still have room and others were quite small. But as we were watching the parade of whales I noticed a bright orange helicopter came shooting out of the water but the whales and the thunderous movements they made were so loud we couldn’t hear the helicopter over them, so mom didn’t see it. But I was so shocked and very nervous as to why there was a helicopter and what it was doing under the ocean and where it was going. I then told mom to peek down at the sealions that were hugging the rocky cliff below the restaurant. From there we left and we were going to go see an alligator show that I had heard in the news President Obama had seen and was being negatively viewed for wasting time watching such a show. We arrived and got in line to only be told we had to leave the line. From there the dream turns a little fuzzy and we met up with Shylee and I knew that her and Tim had been divorced but I didn’t know for a fact until she told me and then I remembered seeing her former husband and realizing I didn’t see Shylee with him and that’s probably why he didn’t recognize me either since she wasn't there. The dream became more fuzzy after that and there was a guy that entered onto the scene that I knew but didn’t know in real life and then we were at a house that I knew but didn’t know and by then I woke.
Additional Comments:
My real mom suffers from agoraphobia and I'm certain some of the fears in this were placed there for the experience of what to do in situations to help her with her fears. But I don't have a clue as to why the rest of it was there.
