It is daytime and I find myself in some kind of administrative bureau, it feels like a cross between a post office and reception desk at a university. The large elegant hall is quite busy with people waiting about to have papers stamped and signed. Some people sit and stand waiting to be served by people sat at desks.

As I stand about waiting I see that the Beatles are here, each of them is wearing exactly the same woollen jumper. The jumpers are a mixture of mainly turquoise with hints of white and black. I find the jumpers colours fascinating and can’t take my eyes off them particularly the turquoise. I also note that the jumpers only come up to their midriffs.

I watch as the Beatles walk out of the offices through a revolving door, I pay particular attention to George Harrison and note that he seems well in himself but looks terribly emaciated and deathly thin. It is then that I am called over to a desk, I make my way over to speak with the person who called me over.

The administrator tells me that they have received an envelope in the post allegedly written by me, it seems to be an application form of some kind. I know that I never sent the envelope and I tell them that it must be a forgery, we don’t argue but the conversation starts to become a little more intense.

I must have come well prepared as my jacket is heavily weighed down with various papers, a wallet, documents etc. I take out my passport and show it to them as a proof of my identity and so that they can compare my signature with that on the suspicious envelope.

I watch as the person compares the signatures and handwriting carefully. The administrator hands me back my wallet and says that everything is in order and that they must have been mistaken about the envelope. I watch as the person writes my given name down on a piece of paper as a note that should be filed with the suspicious envelope.

    The small turquoise chapel.

It is daytime and I find myself riding a bicycle to my old childhood home, I arrive at the house to find that my father is in the process of converting (or re-converting?) the house into a chapel or small church.

The entrance to the chapel is a small arched doorway that I have to stoop down a little to pass through, I note that the interior and parts of the exterior appear to be decorated with very beautiful light turquoise coloured glazed tiles.

I look back over my shoulder and above the door to see a small ornamental figurehead over the door, the ornamental feature shows the head of a cherub with wings either side of it, the cherub is also glazed with the same striking turquoise colour.

Many people come to visit the small chapel, some come to watch some films that my Dad shows on a screen at the rear of the alter.

I am made aware at some point that my Dad is thinking of selling the small church, and that his original intention of making the conversion was perhaps with this goal in mind.

I see some old oil painting portraits high above the alter, I am aware that they are very important and special and that if the church is ever sold then they must not remain inside with the new owner but that they should be passed onto me.
