It’s daytime and I’m half way up a steep hill in a very familiar dream setting kind of street that is just on the outskirts of a city. There is a very wide busy road just in front of me which is also an intersection or crossroads too. I’m trying to cross the road in order to get to the other side (not sure why but I think that there is a pharmacy or drugstore I want to go into).The road is impossible to traverse due to the amount of unrelenting traffic, it moves so quickly its difficult to judge when to step into the road. After a while of waiting I get fed up and decide to just make a dash for it anyway. I leap out into the road and start bounding and springing like a gazelle trying to avoid the cars, which seem to be approaching from all sides.
I am really panicky and totally concentrated in trying to get to the other side. There is something about trying to cross the hectic road which reminds me of the 1980’s video game ‘Frogger’ where the player had to try and get a frog from side of a busy road to the other. As I cross the road the fact that there is an intersection strikes me as having some importance too.
Somehow I start to get the upper hand and dodging the traffic becomes easier, as I get nearer to the other side I see a word rendered in giant letters light up above the road in midair. Unfortunately I can’t remember the word but it began with a ‘C’ and then an ‘O’ it was also very long and seem to have links to show business, entertainment and possibly leaving too.
The word spelt up in lights seems to be a very positive symbol and each letter seems to light up as I make more progress. Somehow I manage to dash and dodge my way through the traffic and onto the other side of the road, I can see the corner shop pharmacy just in front of me. Something about the word in lights tells me that I should have done this long ago?
