The new hairstyle looks something like a cross between a cluster of craggy rutilated crystals and a collection of miniature towering geometric skyscrapers of varying heights. I turn my head from side to side viewing my hair in the mirror the haircut is unusual but I find it very positive.

Thoughts: I guess that if the head is the place where ones thoughts are generated then symbolically the hair might represent an emanation and an expression of those thought processes? The dream might be a visual portrayal of how I’m trying to design, build and crystallise certain new patterns, ideas and ways of thinking in myself. Dream 1: Telegraphing my energy – Daytime and I find myself near a park not far from my home I’m walking along by myself minding my own business when a group of hostile male youths start attacking me. The gang taunts and lunges at me like a gang of vicious baboons they leap back and forth as if to make a quick attack before leaping cowardly away again. I tolerate this harassment for some time without saying or doing anything but I can feel my temper building up inside me like a volcano. Rather than erupting I channel the energy and let it flow in a controlled manner, I reach out and take one of the attackers by the scruff of his collar lifting him clean off the ground and pinning him up against a wooden telegraph pole. This show of strength seems to deter the other savage aggressors sending them into a confused state where they screech and bound around frantically. Dream 2: The ghostly go-between – I find myself in a large dim room its reminiscent of a Regency style apartment I lived in about 10 years ago, the ambiance in the room is heavy, mystical and ethereal. I am accompanied by two women one of whom is older than me and the other who is younger, the ladies want me to try and communicate with a spirit that resides in the apartment and then report back to them with my findings. I take a seat in the centre of the room and slip into a profound leaden trance. After a few moments I see a ghostly lady drift through the room dressed in a long taffeta fluted Greek toga, the woman is accompanied by a little girl dressed in similar clothing. I come out of the heavy trance and tell the two ‘real’ ladies that the ghosts I saw have a direct connection to them, in fact they both co-habit the same space but in different planes of existence. Dream 3: Stained glass – At some point in the very distant past (at least what felt like 2000 years ago) in an arid mountainous desert like region I’m aware of the story of an intelligent spiritual robed man who once served and was once revered highly by some simple people. Although he was higher than the simple folk he eventually fell out of favour though and was martyred by the mob in a very macabre and gruesome way the spiritual man was calm and seemed very accepting of his fate. I watch as a scene of the man’s dismembered remains are slung into a dusty hole in the ground. A large circular plate sized medallion made from stained glass which depicts a saintly religious scene is also thrown into the pit like grave and then dust is shovelled and swept into the hole to fill it in.
