I have been rushed to hospital with a terrible head injury the separate bones that make up my skull seem to have become un-fused and separated, I’m in a state of terrible shock as I’m hurriedly rushed over and lifted onto an operating table.
My head feels horrifyingly unpleasant something like an unstable jelly, I’m in a state of complete disorientation and panic. I touch my head briefly feeling the loosely held together bony platelets, a large piece of my forehead feels strange and as if it is undergoing some kind of mysterious transformation.
Doctors all gather around me inserting surgical instruments in my head as if draining off an excess of fluid, the surgeons and medical people seem just as shocked as I am and after labouring with me for a long time they seem to come to the conclusion that they have done all that they can and cannot do any more to help me.
I’m left in the room over night and pass out or fall asleep.
In the morning the doctors all come in to see how I am, they all look at me with astonishment and amazement as I’m sat up in bed completely healthy. The bones of my skull all seemed to have fused back together again and my head feels even better than before, I feel completely on form and alive again.
The doctors all stand amazed in front of me they cannot understand how such a transformation occurred overnight.

Thoughts: This dream wasn’t actually that bad, the first part was stressful but the waking up part
was very positive. The dream most probably represents how I’m managing to change certain ways of
thinking.
Dream 1: Visiting Scotland to flick ash – Some vague family members (possibly dream characters)
take me to Scotland for a special visit of some kind, it feels sort of like a vacation with a reason. A
female work colleague travels with us in my dream she appears to be my girlfriend, she sits heavily on
my lap for the entire journey which creates a pleasant feeling. After much travelling we eventually
arrive in Scotland, we pull into a large mobile home and caravan park. I don’t know where I am going
so follow behind the rest of the family members who lead me over to one mobile home in particular.
Outside of this caravan are sat two very old native American women on rocking chairs they have been
smoking, as I walk up the stairs inside their property behind the rest of the family members I flick the
long ash off one of the old women’s cigarette, it’s a deeply symbolic act full of meaning.
Dream 2: Seaside terrier – My wife has gone out for a drive in her car and I try and follow after her on
foot, it’s a bit of a magical mystery tour and very hard for me to keep up. I lose sight of my wife in a
seaside village, I find myself at a place where there is a maze of walled steps leading up to the top of a
cliff face. I decide that my wife must have gone up the steps so I decide to head in this direction, no
sooner have I set off though than a shaggy haired little terrier is viciously biting at my ankles. I try to
shake him off but he won’t let go so I pick him up by the scruff of the neck and hold him in mid-air in
front of me. Amazingly the dog starts to cry out for help to some people who are sitting in the back
yard beyond the wall, the dog yaps “Help, help look what he is doing to me!”. I’ve had enough of the
dogs irritating behaviour and seriously consider throwing him over the wall, in fact this seems the only
solution if I am to continue on my way up the steps without being hindered.
Dream 3: Good lizard bad lizard – I find myself in a dim room half above ground and hale below
ground level, there are two lizards being kept in this room as pets in a cage or terrarium. One of the
lizards is thick and chunky and has a pale peachy colour the other lizard is a very dark green blue
colour almost black, it looks a little like a triceratops dinosaur with a spiky frill around its neck. The
room is cold and I’m aware it must be kept warm, I insulate the room by placing a curtain over the
window to try and keep the heat in. The lizard with the spiky frill is very aggressive and attacks the
peachy coloured reptile which is busying itself by doing childish roly-poly rolls around the cage. I say to
my wife that we will need to get rid of the spiky lizard as it’s too much of a nuisance and won’t stop
bothering the more peaceful lizard.
Dream 4: Music shopping – I’m out shopping at a familiar dream record store browsing for music. I see
a new album by Depeche Mode the CD sleeve has neon writing on a black background, its title is very
upbeat in a spiritual kind of way and I sense that their new music is much happier, positive and
optimistic, it’s a CD I consider buying.
Dream 5: Life drawing with Toulouse-Lautrec – I find myself walking across the unfamiliar landing of a
wooden style house that has a feel of France and New Orleans about it. I open a door to my left and
see a painter who doesn’t look like Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec but who I know is him, he is stood at an
easel and is painting a man who is lying down naked on a chaise longue, another man is sat naked in a
chair just behind him. The ambiance in the room is slightly bohemian I find. The artist takes a pause
and shows me many of his paintings and preparatory sketches, as I peruse them I take note of some
details and of his style which I find appealing, the drawing style is pleasingly fluid, stylistic but also
anatomically accurate.

It is daytime and I stood up in the top floor of an unfamiliar building, the property is very large and
made from wood and has a sort of old regency feel about it and also a kind of old colonial New Orleans
feel about it (I’m not sure what that is meant to mean exactly but its just some words that I used to try
and describe the peculiar building and its ambiance!).
I’m looking out through the open sash window down onto a river which passes through the garden
outside. There is a rather unsettling sight floating down the river. I can see a strange spherical craft
which looks like a giant wooden skull bobbing its way down stream. The skull appears to be hollow and
through the eye orbits I can see somebody sat inside, it also look quite old as it is a bit mossy and
stained too.
There is something about the boat that gives me the shivers and makes me think of black magic.
Whoever is in the boat seems to be on the run from something or someone and is using the strange
craft and river as a means of escape. Eventually the river turns into a stream and the stream into a
trickle and a dead end where the skull boat comes to a rest.
Not wanting to be caught I watch as the cloaked person inside the skull turns the craft into an ancient
coffin something like a simple wooden casket made from a large log cut in two and hollowed out. The
wood of this coffin is ancient, dark brown and worn through and I get the impression that once the
person inside has sealed it then it will remain closed for good. The sight is rather eerie and unsettling.
Back in the room where I am standing which happens to look a little like an old bedroom or bathroom
or maybe a combination of the two I am made aware by some invisible presence that there are many
voodoo like charms hidden in the bedroom each of which is linked to a sign of the zodiac, it is my task
to locate them and throw them away.
I search about for the unpleasant trinkets eventually finding some rather unpleasant squares of
sheepskin and fur. I gather up the unpleasant furry charms noting that they seem to be infused with a
most unpleasant negative feeling almost as if they bore a curse. I take them over to the open window
and throw them outside and down into the stream just below.
Additional Comments:
I also had two other dreams this night that involved unpleasant experiences in elevators. The first
dream was infused with a strong sinister espionage atmosphere, there were some violent scenes of
spies fighting, me trying to recover some incriminating evidence (a yellow rosette) and then making my
way to an airport where a baggage handler who was helping me board the plane was crushed violently
inside a nightmare elevator with moving parts and sliding cube shapes (this elevator scene was
absolutely terrifying).
In the second of these elevator dreams I rode to a small convenience store by motorcycle and was
walking naked around the shop. I didn’t feel too uncomfortable but I also didn’t want to hang around for
ages with everyone looking at me, there were some fancy chocolates for sale wrapped up in paper
cones (kind of like a cornet). I went in through an elevator with my Mum down into a place that was
meant to be something of a refuge for me, at the bottom the elevator opened out onto a sheer drop
down into my cave like room. My Mum slipped and fell out over the door. I telephone the architect who
created this building to complain about the elevator, it’s the middle of the morning and I wake up the
architect from his sleep. The architect is a German man and I can’t understand what he says, he seems
annoyed that his sleep has been disturbed so I hang up.
