It feels like late evening time and I find myself inside a dim empty old apartment, I’m watching a man roughly my age or a little younger as a detached observer, he doesn’t appear to be aware of my presence.
I watch as the man carries a huge heavy dead pig at least two or three times his weight over to a small lit fireplace, he struggles as he tries to squeeze the enormous carcass into the grate of red hot coals. As I watch I realise that this burning of a dead pig is something that the man does very often almost like a monotonous routine that he is stuck in.
As the man positions the dead animal onto the orange coals I see that he has got his right hand trapped beneath the immense bulk of the pig’s body. The man’s hand is pressed firmly onto the red hot coals and I’m shocked to see that the man feels no pain whatsoever it is almost as if he were completely ignorant of what is happening to his hand.
I want to do something to help him but I’m in a state of shock as his hand and lower forearm has literally burnt to a blackened charred crisp, I watch very distressed as his blackened hand crumbles before my eyes. I seem to share in his experience only I feel terrible emotional pain and anguish for his plight but he feels nothing and is ignorant of the damage that has been done to his hand.
Additional Comments:
Thoughts: The above dream was really quite upsetting even the drama leading up to the final part in
itself was very disturbing let alone the deep anxiety and anguish that was brought about by seeing the
man’s hand charred and burnt to cinders. There is probably symbolism in there which I should try and
explore or understand I guess, a simple observation might be that the man represents me somehow
and through my ignorance of some detail in my life I am causing myself harm which I perhaps don’t
want to acknowledge.
Dream 1: Don’t turn around – Again it feels like evening time and I am taking a pile of laundry down to
the washing machine, I put the load in the machine and start it on a cycle and then leave the room. I
go into the adjoining corridor and sit cross-legged on the floor with my back to the door of the room
where the washing machine is and slowly slip into a trance. I start to see unusual phenomena start to
appear around and about me like spirit lights I don’t feel quite with it and feel like my senses have been
dulled somehow. I suddenly begin to note the presence of a more tangible spirit figure approaching
from behind me and start become anxious and a bit afraid I sense that the spirit is that of a lady. At
first I feel very anxious and afraid but I soon realise that the spirit is good natured and guiding, I want
to turn around to look at her but she anticipates this and tells me not to turn around, this starts to make
me frightened all over again as I wonder why she wouldn’t want me to turn around. The guide gives off
the feeling that I need to confront and overcome my fear if I want to see more phenomena like this.
Dream 2: Dead dictator and a drawn out war – It is night time in some kind of parallel world at the time
of the Second World War. I play no part as such in the drama but I’m aware that Adolf Hitler has been
assassinated very early on in the war, I assume that this obviously means that the war will not be a
drawn out affair and will be ended quickly but it would appear that the hostile side in the war wants to
perpetuate the conflict regardless of whether the dictator is dead or not, it would seem that in a order
to maintain the fighting a great deception has been made to the public suggesting that Adolf Hitler is in
fact still alive but is keeping a low profile when he is in fact dead, this deception strikes me as
extremely sad and a lost opportunity for peace.

I find myself walking along a dimly lit manmade tiled subterranean tunnel, the passageway is adorned with fixtures, fittings and alcoves displaying memorabilia associated with the movies, in fact this area looks like the kind that is associated with a cinema and that sells associated merchandise.
I would appear to be walking in the direction away from the brightly lit cinema white cinema through the passageway towards the shop proper and then on out into daylight, a vague guide like presence accompanies me by my side whilst a group of unfamiliar young men who aren’t associated with me in the dream walk on ahead.
In the subway area I come upon a living movie poster which displays an animated action picture for an up and coming motorcycle movie called ‘Moto-Fixion’ its quite clear to me even within the dream that the word ‘Fixion’ is playful or meant to be a trendy way to write ‘Fiction’, I pause a moment to watch the moving movie poster in order to see what the film will be all about.
I get drawn into a scene where I see a huge gaggle of motorcycles racing one another down a tunnel, all of the bikes seem to be motocross ones and the ‘X’ in the word fiction would seem to tie directly in with the shortened version of the sport in ‘Moto-X’. The movie is actually one of these computer animated cartoons and looks quite surreal but realistic, I watch as the riders all try to barge past one another just like the Wacky Racers wanting to be the first one to get through the tunnel (The tunnel in their movie world seemed to echo the one where I was stood watching the movie poster).
Although there is a lot of argy-bargy it’s done in a very humorous way, the entire movie clip is portrayed in a very amateur dramatic slow motion which adds to its humour. I notice that all of the riders are wearing crash helmets with some form of reference to Britain on them, for example many of the helmets have the Union Jack painted on them and others have the RAF roundel painted on them.
I continue to watch as the riders become quite intense in their attempt to barge their way to the front and to the end of the tunnel, I watch as one rider on a bright green and white Kawasaki gets knocked off the back of his bike and tumbles through the air backwards into the other tightly packed riders.
I snap out of the reverie and continue on my way walking towards the shop, I overhear the group in front of me chatting and listen in on one man talking about the up and coming ‘Moto-Fixion’ movie, I hear him say that he has already seen it and wasn’t impressed, I don’t take his word for it though and decide that I would like to come back and watch this film for myself.
The subterranean tunnel opens out in the movie memorabilia shop where I see lots of film merchandise on display I stroll around the shop looking at what is on show. I come to a series of waist high glass cabinets which contain little dioramas made up from figurines on miniature movie sets, these toys or ornaments look like the sort of thing a collector might purchase as part of a hobby.
The diorama I’m currently looking at looks like a combination of a Batman and Frankenstein movie the movie set the characters have been made from a black plastic which has a dark greyish bluish hue. Instead of Frankenstein’s monster I see a giant Kodiak bear led down on a long operating table being operated on, the creature appears to be having a parasite removed from its back. Another diorama shows a huge hand something like Thing from The Addams Family, the model or toy hand is also being operated on a table and appears to be having its tendons repaired (?).
Additional Comments:
Thoughts: My dreams have seemed a little surreal the past few days and some have even seemed a bit
muddled or perhaps even meaningless but I can also see how some of the symbolism in the above
dream ties in with my waking life though.

I find myself under the deep aqua blue sea the water is totally pure and clear with a clean sandy sea
floor. I’m stood on the seabed next to the remains of what looks like a tidy old ship wreck I almost
immediately notice that I can breathe underwater without any diving aids.
A huge great white shark has swum up to where I am and starts circling me, it eventually moves in to
attack me. The enormous creature sinks its clamp like jaws into me its bite is heavy but surprisingly
soft and not painful. The shark proceeds to use its razor sharp teeth to bite huge chunks out of my
body.
I don’t try and resist the sharks attack as it would be futile so I simply embrace the creature and
surrender throwing my arms around its body while it eats me. From a detached and remote view point I
watch as if a spirit out of my body and see that the shark has completely consumed and devoured me
leaving nothing except one bony skeletal hand which slowly drifts and sinks down to the bottom of the
sea bed.
A passage of dream time passes beneath the waves after which I somehow seem to be miraculously
reconstituted back into my former self, I begin to walk underwater heading in the direction of the
beach.
I come to a strange underwater tree that looks like a giant piece of upright drift wood with no bark or
leaves upon it, I’m aware that a golden retriever dog comes to rest and sleep beneath this underwater
shelter but he’s not here at the moment.
I eventually arrive at a massive sand bank which is like a huge sloping wall which runs the full length of
the seafront I realize I will have to overcome this wall of sand if I’m going to make it up onto the beach
and out of the sea.
The sand bank is extremely difficult to climb up its made more difficult by the fact that I am completely
underwater too, every time I take a step to move upwards the sand just shifts and gives way beneath
my feet and I end up sliding back down.
The vague distant presence of a professional male diver comes to give me some encouragement, the
support is just what I need and I forge on ahead. The trick to overcome the sand bank is to keep on
moving continuously taking step after step, I become aware that if I stop I will simply sink back down
to the bottom of the sea bed.
I eventually manage to overcome the sandy shelf and walk up through the shallows where I eventually
break through the surface of the water.
I carry on walking up the beach I’m naked but comfortable with my nudity, I continue trekking along a
sandy road which is dotted with small old wooden beach huts in a sandy deserted landscape. I feel
content knowing that I managed to overcome the underwater challenge.
Additional Comments:
Interpretation: I can think of a few interpretations that might apply to this dream a simple one might be
that it probably represents some kind of subconscious drama concerning an
emotional/spiritual/subconscious death and rebirth. On the other hand the shark might symbolize
ferocious emotional concerns that are worrying me or literally ‘eating’ me alive (I have been quite
stressed the past day or two) so this could easily apply although the dream drama in itself and even
being eaten alive wasn’t at all terrifying or nightmarish, quite the contrary in fact. The dream might also
be trying to tell me to ease up on the dream work, the perfectly clear underwater environment might
represent an already tranquil state of mind and that for the time being I have no more subconscious
searching or work to do in this area and simply need to find a way to get back to dry land. The absent
sea dog and its tree might serve to reinforce these aspects although those particular symbols aren’t so
clear to me at the moment.
Dream 1: Boat debt – Its early morning and I find myself sat on a couch in the living room of a vaguely
familiar dream house. I’m flicking through the pages of a newspaper (probably symbolic as I never
read the papers) when I see a delivery man or postman make his way up the garden path and knock
on the door. I don’t want to answer the door for some reason, I sense that whatever this particular
person has come to deliver is a bit foreboding or not good news. The man continues to knock and
eventually my wife comes down the stairs to answer it asking me on her way why I didn’t get up to
answer it, I just shrug my shoulders and carry on nervously flicking through the pages of the paper
wondering what is about to happen. The delivery man who is dressed casually and not in a uniform
hands my wife an invoice for £109 and is hanging about for either an immediate payment or a good
excuse as to why we can’t pay right away. Apparently my wife bought two small row boats for
somebody in need and this letter is the bill. This needy person appears to have been a stranger that my
wife just happened across and wanted to help sort of in the style of the Good Samaritan. Unfortunately
now has come the time to pay for this good deed and it’s not such a pleasant surprise and leaves us in
an awkward situation.
Dream 2: Brother-in-law’s birthday present – I find myself up in a vaguely familiar dream apartment
it’s my birthday (only in the dream). My younger sister has come to visit with her husband, I notice that
my sister has dramatically lost a lot of weight her face looks drawn and a little tired, I feel very close to
her in an emotional brotherly/sisterly kind of way. My brother-in-law hands me a CD for my birthday I
can see from the album cover that it is a compilation of songs by the group Supertramp. My brother-in-
law takes my belt and tries it on for size by looping it through his trousers, the belt just fits but he has
to use the last hole of the belt to make it fit.
