It is dusk and I find myself in a familiar field at the rear of my childhood home, I’ve been working on an old property at the back of the field and am just packing up for the day.

I sweep a lot of gravel and large stones out from the property but wonder where I can sweep them to in order to dispose of them. The local authorities are in the middle of building a large public toilet in the field (?), their work is half finished and I see a large deep drainage ditch which seems to me to be the perfect place to sweep the stones.

The ditch is actually some kind of natural septic tank which has already been lined with gravel which I gather is going to act as some kind of filter. By adding my gravel I’ll be getting rid of one problem but also helping solve another issue on the other hand.

Additional Comments:

Interpretation: Perhaps a dream about flushing away or perhaps more precisely filtering out the various natural feelings I have about my childhood, getting rid of the bad and keeping the good or perhaps even converting or transforming them somehow. Dream 1: Doomed – I find myself running around some kind of gloomy dim maze I feel like am in one of these computer games where characters like monsters chase around trying to kill one another. I have to run and use my hands to defend myself as I have no weapons to attack with, I’m being chased by soldiers and zombies and although I’m stressed a part of me knows that it’s just a game. I eventually manage to escape the maze and come to a vaguely familiar area in the daylight which looks something like the car park of a familiar garden centre. Just as I’m about to escape one of the arch enemies makes the rough concrete ceiling lower down upon me and some of the other stragglers who’ve managed to escape the labyrinth. I panic thinking I’ll be squashed under the rippling concrete but the roof thankfully stops lowering just inches from the floor.

    Boxing the farmer’s son.

I find myself in a vague white room with a boy I went to secondary school with (can’t recall ever dreaming of him before) I appear to be my current age and the other man is also older. We both stand facing one another bare-chested and wearing long tight trousers, we are both dressed like two 19th century bare knuckle boxers we face up to one another for some gentlemanly fisticuffs.

I am made aware by some kind of higher intelligence that the boxing match is destined to be a draw and deep down both I and the other man know this. It is made clear that it would be much better and productive if both of us went out to work and farm the fields. (I recall that the father of the boy I went to school with was a farmer, we actually visited his farm on a school outing so that is probably where this memory comes from).

    The gypsy’s aura.

I am driving alone through some familiar countryside towards my old childhood home. To my left in the fields that lead up to the hilly forest I see a great many caravan’s parked randomly all over the fields, it’s a very surprising scene and as I continue on down the hill I realise that the caravans belong to lots of travelling gypsies who have set up a temporary home there.

I follow the road on down to a curved junction opposite to an old church to my left is the large field that appeared in the dream from yesterday night called ‘The farmer’s groundwork’. I make a sharp turn to my left to take a dirt track along to where all of the gypsies caravans are parked, I sort of feel as if I am on my way to the caravan site to visit somebody in particular.

The area near to the campsite is quite messy with rubbish strewn about most noticeably I see a set of old window frames still with the glass panes in them leaning up against a hedge as if put out for the garbage men to take away. Although the area is very untidy it seems sort of positive as if all of this junk and rubbish has a symbolic meaning and purpose all of its own.

As I trundle down the dirt track I have a moment of anxiety and feel that I won’t be welcome on the gypsies land. I quickly put the car into reverse and drive back out of the lane onto the main road. A gypsy lady has chased after me and appears to come over to my car to confront me, I feel certain that this is going to get bad and that she is going to really aggress me.

I wind the window down and we both start to talk it becomes confusing as if we are both speaking different languages, we aren’t arguing as such although the discussion is heated its as if the tension is due to the fact that we are desperate to communicate with one another. As I look at the woman I see an indigo or purple coloured halo or aura appear around her body.

The amazing violet light looks like a smaller version of the suns wispy corona its an incredible sight that immediately puts me at ease, the woman smiles at me as if we have finally understood one another. I feel more confident realising that her intentions are good the lady beckons me to follow after her and to visit her people and campsite where she lives.

    Additional Comments:

Another dream where a dream character has an aura or halo.

Other dreams from this night involved me travelling in a solitary train carriage (not even a train was attached?) through the streets close to an old market house in the town I grew up in. My sister-in-law is travelling in the same carriage and we seem to be involved in some kind of emotional drama (doesn’t reflect waking life). As the train carriage coasts down to the bottom of the town it transforms and the rolling stock turns into a skateboard which I ride confidently and eventually bring to a halt.

In another dream I was riding a little child’s tricycle even though I felt like my adult self....very awkward! In the other dream I could recall I was cleaning out a hamster’s cage and giving it a tidy up.
