It is late evening time and I am searching for a young lady who has gone missing, I am accompanied by a man and woman who are helping me to locate the lost female. Our search is quite frantic as we suspect that the young lady has been abducted, the woman would appear to be an integral part of our group and we feel incomplete without her. The search seems to take months if not years and leads us through very exotic lands and off out to far-flung places.
We eventually come to a very strange, remote and large house with many sprawling rooms, the building has a dark ambiance which is offset by bright colourful lights which flash on and off intermittently, I feel almost certain that this place is a house of ill repute or some kind of eerie fairground funhouse.
We silently tip toe about the dark corridors of the bordello and eventually come to a large glossy white door, I realise that the person on the other side of this door will have all of the answers as to the fate of the missing girl. The man and lady who accompany me are too afraid to enter this room so it left up to me to go inside. I actually feel very intrepid, brave and more than up to the task so I push the door ajar and step on inside to the small muted office like room.
Inside the room sat at a swivel chair I see a man dressed in a bright white suit he has long blond wavy hair and a rugged deeply lined muscular face which has an air of the Dionysian animal side about it, I immediately know that the man is Lucifer*.
The man is very intimidating and oozes a strange kind of suave confidence his character strikes me as being very much in control and regardless of my bravery at some level I do fear him. He invites me into his room and offers me a seat explaining that he wants to ask me some questions, which I feel quite willing to do. I can sense that the missing girl is being held in one of the rooms somewhere in the brothel but any thoughts of rescuing her leave me whilst in the presence of the fallen angel.
The man walks around his office room very casually with an austere air asking me questions without really facing me whilst at other times looking right into my face and deep into my eyes with his own piercing gaze. As the man questions me I notice that he picks up lots of little gadgets and objects in his room and plays with them, it appears he has a great love or fascination and perhaps even an obsession with material objects.
The man’s questions are quite peculiar and all revolve around personal spiritual discoveries I’ve made, he questions me intently about the soul or spirit, about ghosts and the afterlife and other such phenomena such as clairvoyance, mediumship and astral projection. I’m quite surprised by this as he is obviously a supernatural being who I would have thought would know all of the answers to these questions already.
(As I write this up though it seems obvious to me now that he should ask such questions as he was so immersed in the material world and the answers he sought all concerned the seemingly intangible or non-material realms).
As the man sits casually with his feet up on the desk and continues to interrogate me leisurely about all matters spiritual I watch as he straps a most peculiar gadget onto his forehead, it looks a little like a kind of hi-tech headband but with an eye patch where the third eye is meant to be**. The weird glassy amber lens appears to be massaging the area on his forehead where his third eye is with what I imagine the intention being that he somehow wishes to enhance his higher spiritual faculties.
The eye patch gadget looks a bit plasticky and cheap but I don’t dare say anything to him for fear of upsetting him or at worst incurring his wrath, but in fact I find that there is something sort of endearing that this imposing man would consider using such a tacky gimmicky novelty to raise his spiritual energies.

Thoughts: *The Lucifer in this dream wasn’t at all a frightening devil like person but was more of a human embodiment, I’ve also got a bit of a weird idea where that symbolism may have come from. Last night I feel asleep on the sofa whilst watching a documentary about the planet Venus it was a sort of scientific programme but I think that a lot of what I watched must have filtered down at a symbolic level as I drifted off to sleep and triggered older memories and thoughts. I’d always associated this planet with the feminine and until the planet was actually studied close up from what I read it was thought that Venus might have had a better chance of harbouring life than Mars. The documentary actually showed that Venus has in fact a very hostile and uninhabitable environment although it is apparently still thought of as the earth’s sister planet. But on top of that I also read and had previously heard that the planet Venus is called the Morning or Evening star and is also associated with Lucifer whose name means the Light Bearer or Light Bringer and even in some things I read this character wasn’t always seen as bad. The symbolism or story of the dream seems more like a kind of psychological drama whereby the Lucifer character might represent a kind of masculine shadow or animus archetype, his abduction of the missing fourth element in the form of the lady seems to echo those old tales of a feminine damsel in distress ho needs rescuing. Incidentally the eye patch the Lucifer character was wearing in this dream was near identical to the one the witch like lady was wearing in this dream ‘The one-eyed witch.’ from Sunday the 10th of August and in fact both of these characters share an uncanny similarity and although one was male and the other female there was a close mutual androgyny common between them. (As a footnote, dreams of planets this week have been extremely prevalent, I had another one last night too about the planet Saturn).Dream 1: Desert treasure hunt – I have walked for what seems like an eternity in the company of an unfamiliar friendly man and woman through Eastern lands in search of treasure, the dream is rich in ambiance and realism and the dream saga exists on an epic scale. A significant point in the dream occurs when I slide over the brow of a huge sand dune with my dream friends and begin to dig into the sand for treasure, I note that I am wearing loose fitting baggy clothing which is extremely comfortable and makes me feel good in myself.
Dream 2: Oriental games – I find myself deep inside a large sprawling dim pagoda where there are many challenging games here in the form of monumental puzzles. I play one of the games which involves manipulating a pair of eyeball like pearls into the empty eye sockets of a grimacing oriental beasts face. I have to do this task with the power of my thoughts alone something which I manage to do quite well eventually swivelling the pearls into the orbits.
