Opening a new bank account.

I find myself inside a bank sat at a desk with a female bank manager discussing the opening of a new account the atmosphere is sort of both informal and official. I am transferring an amount of 764.34 from an old account into a brand new one and then closing the old account.

When the lady brings over the bank statements to the desk to show me the transfer I see that the balance on my new account is 2764.34. I am really puzzled as to where the 2000 came from and why it is on my account.

I get the feeling that I haven’t been explained something about how the bank charges are going to be working with this new account. I start to become suspicious thinking that there is a catch and my initial optimism surrounding the opening of this new account is not as good as it first was.

I go to ask the manager how come there is an extra 2000 on my account but before I get the words out she has gotten up from her seat to go and get some more paperwork, the contract I need to sign in order to validate the account I feel. I feel in a bit of a quandary as what course of action I should now take.

Taking a little before the transaction is complete.

It is daytime and the weather is beautiful, my wife and I are walking along a path toward a large wooden cabin situated in a forest. The house is beautiful and I realise that we are in the process of actually buying it. The purchase seems a certainty and just a matter of waiting a while for all of the necessary papers to be processed.

As we walk up the path to the front door I see lots of the owners children playing merrily in the garden. I pick up on a very happy busy family atmosphere from the house and the garden.

My wife has brought me here with the intention of taking something from the property. My wife tells me that the house is as good as ours so it won’t do any harm if we go and start taking a few of the current owners belongings and making them our own (this idea strikes me as being slightly odd now, and even in the dream it felt a bit strange).

We go up to the front door, which is open, we are both greeted by the woman of the house who I immediately recognise as a friendly colleague* from my place of work (I have probably only dreamt of this person once or twice in the past). I peer in through her front door and see that her house is very cosy with a rich warm family atmosphere.

The woman seems to know why we are here and directs my wife around to the rear of the property. She doesn’t seem to mind us just turning up out of the blue like this and taking some of her belongings (the things we are actually taking seem to have a direct link to the house and therefore would normally have been sold with it I assume).

At the rear of the house is what looks like a tiny stable or corral, I realise that my wife intends to take two tiny newborn foals. I think that this is a strange thing to want to take and I wonder how we are going to care and feed them, as we have no experience with such animals.

As my wife takes the two baby horses in her arms I suddenly have the thought that taking these baby horses would be fine if we had actually finished the transaction and bought the house. But as the paperwork and transaction or exchanging of money is still in progress and not completed it strikes me as being very wrong somehow.
