I have gone to visit my Mum and stepfather at their unfamiliar dream house, I’ve come to help them out in anyway I can.
My step Dad is planning on going for a long trek and is looking for a small flask to take with him so he can have a hot drink. I sort through a large cardboard full of many different kinds of drinking vessels showing him each to see what he thinks.
There is a large assortment of flagons here but none seem to be to his liking, I pick out one that looks as if it has been made from jade and he shows a little more interest. I note that all of the flasks in the box look like they would only be able to store enough liquid to provide one drink.
After helping my stepfather I go into an undecorated lounge area and start helping with some renovation work, the walls of the room have some large cavities which I clear of dust and debris with the intention of filling with plaster.
My Mum comes into the room to join me I see that she has brought us both a cup of coffee which is served in a small mauve Italian espresso coffee cup. My Mum asks me to come and sit beside her for a chat.
I see that she also has a small plate which has two exquisitely crafted chocolates sat upon it, each chocolate has the shape of a heart and upon this heart is a royal crest and upon this crest is a small irregular rock shaped violet candy. The chocolates appear to have been made by a master choclatier and each is a magnificent work of art.
One chocolate is for me and the other is for my Mum to eat whilst we have our coffee, my Mum starts to have a heart to heart with me she seems to be able to sense that on the outside I appear happy but on the inside I am sad. I appreciate my Mum’s company and feel very loved and cared for.
My Mum explains to me gently that I’ve been reading the signs and seeing the symbols in my dreams but have not been acting on them and this is the reason for my sadness.
Additional Comments:
Thoughts: For some reason the scene with my stepfather and the flasks reminded me of the scene in
the Indiana Jones film where Indy had to choose wisely and pick what he thought was the correct Grail.
The drama with my Mum struck a nerve too as I could really relate to her advice in the dream and on
waking, and can see how this advice applies or should be applied to my waking life. There were some
recurring symbols in this dream like the chocolates, coffee (the need to wake up to certain things) and I
even recall a search for a vessel in a past dream from a while back.
Dream 1: The haunted motorcycle museum – I am being given a tour around a very large museum of
motorcycles by a very chaste woman this lady is older than myself and is possibly a Nun or some other
kind of religious figure. I’m guided amongst various aisles very much like one might see in a
warehouse with long lanes of tall racking looking at the dusty old motorcycles. We come upon one room
which we discover is haunted by a malevolent female poltergeist, the room looks like a foreman’s office
in a factory. Whilst the Nun and I pause in this room I start to have a nosebleed, the blood slowly
trickles out of my nose and immediately draws the attention of the malicious female spirit. I get the
impression that the ghost is attracted to my blood because she can draw off the energy contained in it.
The virgin lady doesn’t seem to know what to do about the spirit so I decide to carry out an
experiment. I take a handful of pink dice all of which have many different sides and shapes, I leave
these dice on a desk in the room with the expectation that the poltergeist will throw them up in the air
and I will be able to garner some sort of conclusion from the way they fall. We leave the dice and then
I and the chaste woman leave the room, we hear lots of banging and smashing of objects but when we
re-enter the room a short while later we see some broken furnishings and ornaments but the dice are
untouched and still in the same position I had previously left them. I was hoping that the ghost would
have thrown the dice into the air and I would have been able to garner something from the way in
which they landed. (The dice in this dream looked very much like the crystals I picked up on the beach
in this dream ‘Octahedron beach’.
Dream 2: Chili powder shampoo – I find myself inside an unfamiliar hairdressers where I see my Mum
and youngest sister sat on a row of comfy chairs reading magazines and waiting to have their hair
styled, a young male is stood just to the right of where my Mum is sat, he looks different to me but I
know that he represents me as a young boy. The boy is wearing pajamas and has his left foot up on
the cushioned chair striking a cowboy like pose. I see that the youth has an erection pushing against his
pajama trousers which he seems quite proud of, this aspect of the boy reminds me of a Greek faun or
satyr. My Mum and sister look at the boy with uninterested expressions and roll their eyes as if this
were a typically immature male thing to do. Some other people including some of the hairdressers and
other males of roughly the same age start laughing and ridiculing the boy’s physical expression
particularly the fact he has an erection, the boy starts to become very embarrassed and runs away
from the hairdressers red faced and ashamed. I’m left watching out the rest of the scene and see a
hairdresser washing or rubbing a woman’s long hair with lots of red powder, I ask the hairdresser what
the red powder is and she tells me that it is chili powder.

Daytime and I find myself sat down on the sidewalk in a peaceful suburban cul-de-sac where I am breaking off and eating large pieces of dark chocolate from an absolutely huge tablet, the bar which lies on the pavement is roughly the dimensions of a huge sheet of particle board (which seems relevant to the rest of the dream, see below).
I’m really stuffing myself and actually feel quite gorged almost sick, a familiar female work colleague comes up to me with a hot frying pan which contains some large sizzling sausages. The colleague offers me a sausage and I really would like to take one but I feel so sick from binging on the chocolate that I don’t think I could manage it, besides the combination of the chocolate and sausage flavors isn’t very appealing.
I think to myself “If only I knew the lady had cooked the sausages before I started stuffing myself with the chocolate then I would have waited for them instead”.
Later that afternoon and still in the same cul-de-sac I find myself erecting four very large sheets of chipboard (particleboard) in the form of an enclosed four walled square with me on the inside. As I position the last sheet in place I notice that particleboard is very warped and twisted in shape, it looks like it must have gotten wet.
A loud humming sound coming from behind me catches my attention and I drop the warped sheet of compressed wood chips to the ground as I turn to look. I see that it is the colleague who offered me her cooked sausages earlier, she is driving a great looking hand made hovercraft along the street with a happy smile on her face.
As I watch I notice that the piece of warped wet chipboard slides almost like a sheet of paper (in a very unreal, surreal dreamy sort of way) down the street towards the lady’s craft. I can see what is going to happen and so can she. The woman lets out a little cry of “Oh no!” as the particleboard glides towards her craft.
I run down to where she is to make sure she is okay but not before the particle board collides into her hovercraft and makes a small tear in the special skirt that the vehicle floats on.
I apologize deeply to the lady for the accident and promise to repair the skirt, I can see she looks a little upset but she doesn’t seem angry me. The damage is only minor and she seems accepting of my offer to repair the craft.
Additional Comments:
Thoughts: I have to admit that I have been on a bit of a chocolate binge just lately which may be one
of the reasons for having this dream, if the first part of the dream is symbolic then the foods made me
think of nourishment and following on from my recent series of dreams the first thing that sprang to
mind was that the chocolate represents the feminine and the sausages the masculine. The strange four
walled structure I created with the particleboard was set-up kind of like a house of cards and it was
almost as if I had boxed myself in (not very well though) which was doubly echoed in the fact that the
drama was taking place in a cul-de-sac, the sogginess of the chipboard could be an indicator of
emotions overflowing. The hovercraft symbol really is starting to intrigue me as it isn’t the first time I
have dreamt of it now. I haven’t been able to find a definition for this symbol on the internet or in any
of my books but from what I have seen in my dreams it usually appears when I have been feeling a bit
under the weather or low, the special vehicle most probably represents the ability to rise up over the
bothersome worries challenges that present themselves on ones path through life. The dream wasn’t all
that negative and in parts it was kind of fun.
Dream 1: Putting green – It’s daytime and I find myself at small (waking life) putting green in my
childhood hometown, I see a childhood friend here playing on the miniature course and he beckons me
over to where he is. I go over to join him and see that he waves his putter in the air to grab my
attention, I don’t have any clubs but I feel just happy to watch him. After the game we head back to the
clubhouse which looks strikingly different to how it does in waking life, in reality the clubhouse is
nothing more than a little shop but in my dream it is a large cube shaped Regency styled house or
apartment block. At the front of the intriguing building I see a very large flat screen television hanging
from the wide porch, I see that the TV is showing the news. Apparently the television has just been
tuned in and is able to pick up all channels nationwide, as if to show this I see a row of special symbols
running across the bottom of the screen some of which look like crescent moons and some like
symbolic satellite dishes. I watch as a male news broadcaster starts to read the main story which just
happens to be about how this television set has been finally tuned in. For some reason I feel impelled to
imitate and speak like the broadcaster, what I’m doing isn’t done in a mocking way but I actually take it
quite seriously and try to copy the newsreader as best I can.
Dream 2: Band of friends – I find myself in a dim concert hall or maybe at the side of a stage at an
music concert at a small stadium, I watch as a group of childhood friends walk up onto the stage and
take up their various instruments. When they start to play I’m very much surprised by the standard of
their playing, it really is fantastic with a lot of harmony and feeling the music sounds like a kind of lively
blues rock. I note that the keyboard player is playing exceptionally well and really stands out he really
looks like he loves playing the music and moves with flair and panache. (The piano player incidentally
was the same friend who was putting at the mini golf course in dream 1).
Dream 4: Race tickets – I find myself at work and am aware that I am going to be moving department
soon the news leaves me feeling indifferent and uninterested. I seem more concerned with trying to
write down this current nights dreams from within this dream (!) when I come to use the template I
normally use to write up my dreams though I find that it is muddled with all of the text a jumble this
annoys me as I don’t understand why this should be so. I’m also having some trouble with an old
fashioned table lamp which has many teardrop shaped bulbs hanging from it. Some of the bulbs look a
little dim and a few of them even seem to have blown or aren’t working at all, I consider replacing them
but eventually give up on the idea. I also forget about trying to record my dreams and go over to a
table where I see two men sat chatting, one is a former work colleague who left some time ago. The
two men are discussing motorcycles and racing, I try to join in the conversation but the two men seem
a little unfriendly or cold and I note that the former colleague even seems a little off with me. I see that
the former colleague has a pair of tickets on the table top under his folded arms the tickets are to go
and watch a motorcycle grand prix with. The tickets are very expensive and I get the impression the
old colleague is moody with me because I won’t take one of the tickets and go with him to watch the
race.
Dream 5: Dawdling delivery – Daytime and I find myself driving a car by myself through the
countryside, I feel like I am in a bit of a hurry to be getting somewhere. I come to a tiny little old
worldly English village and immediately have to slow down and stop as the narrow street is blocked with
a convoy of huge 18 wheeled vehicles that are pulling enormous tarpaulin covered trailers. I start to
get frustrated and agitated by having to wait for the vehicles, one of the enormous trucks starts to
reverse and I realize that he is trying to position himself as if he were going to make a delivery. I
resign myself to the jam knowing that I’ll just have to wait, with that a little old lady comes out of a
cottage to my right and approaches my wound down window. She comes over to me with a smile and
tells me to slow down, relax, take my time and be patient. The little old lady then starts directing the
driver of huge transporter over to the side of her house, I think to myself “My god! The delivery is for
her? What on earth has she has ordered?” the two or three gargantuan lorries are taller and bigger
than her house!
