Daytime and I find myself in a vaguely familiar town setting the first thing I immediately notice is that everything in the dreamscape is rendered in shades of blue.

I’ve been given an old classic Bugatti limousine which I drive leisurely over an old stone bridge which spans a river. An invisible guiding voice tells me that I need to relax and start taking things easy and apparently that is why I have been given the laid-back car.

It is explained to me that the car’s engine has been intentionally restricted and will only turn over up to a maximum of 7,500 Rpm, apparently this is for my own benefit and to force me to take things at a more leisurely pace.

Additional Comments:

Thoughts: I guess this dream is pretty straight forward in its meaning it felt very nice to be driving across the bridge in such a peaceful and leisurely way, it was also very strange to dream entirely in blue for this dream too! (Perhaps the blue represents a kind of cooling off or cooling down?).

Dream 1: Refitting windows – Daytime at a familiar dream house that I dreamt of constantly renovating some months ago, the many outbuildings which offered such promise have all but decayed into black slimy crumbling bricks. My wife has to leave for a short for a while to help some family members but before going we both go around to an area of garden at the rear of the property near to an old barn. We see that the grass is overgrown and full of weeds, the sight of the garden on top of the ruins of the rest of the property makes for a depressing sight. As my wife drives off I go to an upstairs room where I start refitting some windows. Putting the windows back into the panes is something of jigsaw puzzle and I have to juggle them around to make them fit properly. As I do the task I notice that the lower parts of the windows have some unusual soft fluffy pink fabric wrapped around them, something like a sock only open at both ends. As I finish fitting the last of the awkward windows I look down and see an unfamiliar girl in the street calling up to me, I see that the young woman has learning difficulties. She calls up to me and asks me if I have any Coca-Cola memorabilia she can have (?). Already irritated by my struggle with the windows I call down to her “No I do not, and I’ve never drunk Coca-Cola in my life”. The girl turns away from me annoyed by my terse response and flounces off inside an old fashioned corner shop where I assume she will purchase some Coca-Cola.

Dream 3: A gangster traps himself – Evening time and I detachedly observe a scene reminiscent of vintage gangster movies. I watch as an outlaw wildly drives his getaway car through a vague rocky mauve Martian setting, he approaches a wall of infinite height and breadth and intentionally rams his car into it punching a hole in the bricks in order to make his escape. I watch as the gangster gets out of his car and climbs through the hole into a dark cavity only to come up against yet another unimaginably immense wall. Escape is futile and the man is completely trapped, a few moments later the cops arrive and apprehend the man. I note that the policemen have very righteous chiselled facial features.

I find myself find myself stood in the centre of my Nan’s sitting room having previously been out to the shops and bought two very large canisters of air freshener, one aerosol has a pale blue flowery design on its papery label whilst the other has a pale green floral pattern (vaguely reminiscent of the old Dream Journal Websites design).

I have decided to use these air fresheners as an underarm deodorant I don’t seem to be able to distinguish the sprays as being solely used as an air freshener. My wife comes into the room and pre-empts my use of the air freshener as a deodorant and tells me that it’s a silly idea, I have a sudden snap of lucidity and realise that she is right.

    Additional Comments:

Thoughts: The above dream was quite vivid but short and I can’t really imagine that it means a great deal. But having said that air is a pretty big recurring symbol for me so I can imagine that at some level this dream might be important somehow, I guess my subconscious went to some effort to kind of crossover the deodorant and air freshener symbolism too it’s not something I’ve been thinking about at all so I guess there is some sort of meaning in there somewhere incidentally my Nan’s house is usually associated with learning so maybe the drama involves some sort of lesson which I need to discover? As well as the below dream I also had a very sensual sexual dream this night too. Dream 1: Kung fu confidence – Daytime and I find myself at a bus station in a familiar city centre. I’m stood waiting for a bus when a car loaded with gangsters drives down the bus lane and pulls up alongside me, I dive to the floor to avoid a spray of gun shot and pistol fire (the popping sound of the gun’s sounded very really almost like a child’s cap gun, not particularly loud but convincing all the same). I manage to overcome the gangsters quite easily and they tear off feeling intimidated by my confidence, I feel quite different to my waking self sort of a sure of myself and very self-confident. I’m even dressed differently in loose fitting flashy and brightly coloured sports clothes. I head off and later find myself walking about the streets of my childhood hometown I feel unusually cock sure of myself perhaps even overconfident and feel that I have assimilated an entire wealth of Kung fu knowledge in an instant, I strut around feeling very full of myself (a feeling quite unlike what I’m like in waking life).

(This was another weird and disturbing dream probably brought about by this head cold and sinus infection I have at the moment, even though it was gruesome the last part seemed almost humorous and darkly comically whilst still being distressing).

It’s daytime and I find myself stood outside an old derelict cinema that looks near identical to the one from the film “An American Werewolf in London” or possibly one in the film “Twelve Monkeys”. Bruce Willis (who was in the latter film) is beside me and says in a tough guy kind of way “Well, I think we should go inside to investigate this place”. I don’t feel too hot about this idea as the place has got a real creepy atmosphere and I feel sure it is bound to harbor something malevolent.

Seeing that Bruce is with me though I think why not go in and see what is lurking there, I head on inside and find a decrepit old building falling to pieces the cinema area is particularly eerie, I head on downwards into the building where there is a kind of boiler room area with lots of corridors with metal water pipes running along the ceiling its very dim and gloomy down here.

Fortunately and without having to get involved in the drama I start to pick up on the story of this place and what has been going on down here. A bizarre ghoulish human monster something like a cross between the phantom of the opera and a zombie with leathery scarred blue skin has kidnapped a woman and brought her down here and chopped her arms, legs and head off and stacked the pieces up in some kind of display cabinet as some kind of weird trophy, I get the impression that the monster actually likes the woman and has dismembered her so that she wouldn’t run away from him.

Bizarrely the dismembered woman is still alive and I watch her head which is positioned up in a square alcove become animated as soon as the blue skinned monster approaches. She starts hurling hysterical abuse and swearing violently at the monster as he approaches her she looks really frenzied and crazed. Suddenly her disembodied right arm also becomes reanimated and swings out violently holding a builders knife and starts stabbing at the monsters face and head.

The monster is getting harmed quite a lot with blood pouring from the cuts and gashes he tries to defend himself from the woman who is in separate pieces on the shelf in fact it almost seems as if the woman is stronger than the monster in this instance and that she has the upper hand her only disadvantage being that she can’t escape her predicament because she is in bits and pieces.
