Daytime and I find myself in a vaguely familiar town setting the first thing I immediately notice is that everything in the dreamscape is rendered in shades of blue.I’ve been given an old classic Bugatti limousine which I drive leisurely over an old stone bridge which spans a river. An invisible guiding voice tells me that I need to relax and start taking things easy and apparently that is why I have been given the laid-back car.
It is explained to me that the car’s engine has been intentionally restricted and will only turn over up to a maximum of 7,500 Rpm, apparently this is for my own benefit and to force me to take things at a more leisurely pace.
Additional Comments:
Thoughts: I guess this dream is pretty straight forward in its meaning it felt very nice to be driving across the bridge in such a peaceful and leisurely way, it was also very strange to dream entirely in blue for this dream too! (Perhaps the blue represents a kind of cooling off or cooling down?).Dream 1: Refitting windows – Daytime at a familiar dream house that I dreamt of constantly renovating some months ago, the many outbuildings which offered such promise have all but decayed into black slimy crumbling bricks. My wife has to leave for a short for a while to help some family members but before going we both go around to an area of garden at the rear of the property near to an old barn. We see that the grass is overgrown and full of weeds, the sight of the garden on top of the ruins of the rest of the property makes for a depressing sight. As my wife drives off I go to an upstairs room where I start refitting some windows. Putting the windows back into the panes is something of jigsaw puzzle and I have to juggle them around to make them fit properly. As I do the task I notice that the lower parts of the windows have some unusual soft fluffy pink fabric wrapped around them, something like a sock only open at both ends. As I finish fitting the last of the awkward windows I look down and see an unfamiliar girl in the street calling up to me, I see that the young woman has learning difficulties. She calls up to me and asks me if I have any Coca-Cola memorabilia she can have (?). Already irritated by my struggle with the windows I call down to her “No I do not, and I’ve never drunk Coca-Cola in my life”. The girl turns away from me annoyed by my terse response and flounces off inside an old fashioned corner shop where I assume she will purchase some Coca-Cola.
Dream 3: A gangster traps himself – Evening time and I detachedly observe a scene reminiscent of vintage gangster movies. I watch as an outlaw wildly drives his getaway car through a vague rocky mauve Martian setting, he approaches a wall of infinite height and breadth and intentionally rams his car into it punching a hole in the bricks in order to make his escape. I watch as the gangster gets out of his car and climbs through the hole into a dark cavity only to come up against yet another unimaginably immense wall. Escape is futile and the man is completely trapped, a few moments later the cops arrive and apprehend the man. I note that the policemen have very righteous chiselled facial features.
