This dream has been viewed 3509 times.

 It is daytime and the weather is very fine and hot. I find myself sat in the stands of a modest sized tennis court full of spectators. There is no match currently being played although all of the spectators are perhaps waiting for one to begin.

In order to keep the impatient spectators entertained a pretty gypsy like Mediterranean woman gets up and prances slowly through the tiers of chairs and people. She claps her hands as she dances in a most specific kind of way just like how flamenco dancers do when they are playing passionate music.

(This clapping is extremely lucid and aural sort of a popping or clicking sound and I can really feel it in my body and dream ears!).

Another dream from this night was of being on an English TV quiz show called ‘”University Challenge”. I note that one of the contestants has an unusual triple barrelled surname ‘Robert E. Howard Lee’. One of the quiz questions is about sweet corn and how it can prepared in a variety of recipes and dishes both sweet and savoury (strange question for university students?!).

    The boiling engine.

    This dream has been viewed 3652 times.

     It is daytime and the weather is very hot. I find myself at a large racing circuit used for motor sports. I am riding around the circuit with one other person we are both riding large chopper style motorcycles.

    There is a large crowd of spectators in all sections of the stands as if a race were about to take place.

    The other man and I (a stranger but sort of felt a bit like a dream friend) don’t appear to be involved in the race directly but are putting on some kind of show or parade with the chopper motorcycles just before the race starts and for the benefit of the spectators.

    As we both cruise around the course in front of the spectators it soon becomes apparent that the bikes we are riding are completely unsuited to the race circuit. The motorcycle I ride is very cumbersome and heavy whereas the front forks on the bike my friend rides has a ridiculously long rake.

    Both of these aspects of the motorcycles severely disadvantage us when it comes to going around the corners, so much so that we end up teetering around the course slowly using our feet to stabilise us. We come to one corner where we both almost collide due to the unwieldy nature of the choppers.

    We eventually come to a halt side by side and become a bit tetchy with one another both wanting somebody to blame for the embarrassing situation. After all we are meant to be putting a bit of a display on for the huge crowds and have just ended up looking like clowns.

    I sense the spectators becoming more and more impatient and angry at our sham display, they begin to boo us which is really embarrassing. To top it all of I look down and see that my engine in my bike which is huge has started to boil and steam due the bike being stood idling for so long and also because of the hot weather.

    (The bike I’m riding in the dream is a Triumph Rocket III whereas my friend rides a stretched Harley Davidson like in the movie ‘Easy Rider’).

    I panic not knowing what to do as the engine gets hotter and hotter and all of the oils and fluids begin to evaporate. Suddenly a pit mechanic in white overalls comes running to the rescue, he calls out to me over the din of the engines “Put it in neutral!” and with that he quickly depresses the gear pedal and with a clunk puts it into neutral.

    It’s a real relief and I’m very grateful, I never realised but I must have left the bike in gear with the clutch pulled in, I assume that it must have caused the overheating problems.

    From black & white to colour for the aging rock band.

    This dream has been viewed 4197 times.

     It is evening time and I find myself in a sitting room of an old house straight out of the 1950’s, I note straightaway that I am a child of perhaps 7 or 8years of age. I am sat cross-legged and right up close to an old style black & white television set, I am avidly watching a heavy rock band performing their music.

    The picture is quite fuzzy and blurry but this doesn’t detract from my attentiveness. From behind me and over my shoulder an adult (this could possibly have been an adult version of myself?) leans forward, reaches out and turns a knob on the television set. As soon as the knob is turned the television image changes from black & white to colour.

    As a child the transformation strikes me as being very profound and almost magically, I had never realised that there was a button that could change the colour settings. As I watch the now colour television screen I see that the band have taken a pause from their music to have a seat with the presenter and to share some conversation with the audience.

    Suddenly I feel myself getting drawn into the television, I am now inside the scene on the TV set with the rock group and presenter. I look up to the audience and see that it is made up entirely of women of all ages. I see that the all male band members have intermingled with the audience so that they can get closer to the female fans and share a moment with them.

    I look about the large audience trying to spy where each of the band members has gone to sit. One by one I manage to see where each of them is sitting, much to my surprise I am quite taken aback to see that each of the band members has aged considerably. Now rather than being young men they would now appear to be in their late 70’s or 80’s.

    I look at one of the band members (ironically it is the drummer, this would definitely tie in with all of my other drum and drumming dreams). His face is very weathered, aged and wrinkled he is almost bold except for a few wisps of grey hair. The man manages to give me a loving and caring smile, as he does this I see the lines on his face wrinkle and crease.
