I'm going out to dinner at an Italian place with my sister, her husband, my niece and nephews and a
minister. The minister has had some mystical experiences and is trying to figure out what God is trying
to tell him. He has seen a vision of a Centurian with a sword and shield. I see the vision as if I am
him.
Everyone is eating their dinner except I as they haven't brought it yet. I had ordered lasagna.
Someone at the table ? Finds a mini sword on the floor. It seems as if the message is reinforcing itself,
yet the man who found it just dismisses it and sticks it up on the wall. Some weird thoughts went
through my mind during this. Thoughts of A Tale of Two Cities...Even though I've never read it...And
the thought that the message had to do with being of service with humility and that the minister needed
to come down from his Ivory Tower and humble himself. That perhaps he didn't know everything about
God and the Afterlife as he thought he did.
I go around the other side of the table to tell him this. He seems to dismiss me and my take on his
vision. I tell him I do have some insights into imagery as I have spent some years doing dreamwork.
I look away for a sec and look back. The minister is now a small girl. I ask a woman with children at
an adjoining table if she saw the transformation. She says yes but that she doesn't believe it. I put my
hand on her shoulder and say, "Believe it."
