The Brown Deluge

I am on the beach in California. I am collecting feathers. I have collected a bunch of them and now am seperating them into different groups according to size and style. I have them all seperated when I decide to go closer to the water to collect my clothes, as I am just wearing a pair of tighty whities. As I bend over to grab my clothes I am overcome by a large wave that has surprised everyone on the beach. We all start making our way inland and another much more massive wave hits us. The water is a very dirty brown color. I make my way back up to my feet and start running faster inland. Everyone is now panicking and running as fast as possible. I am running for my life. I look back once as I am running and see that I better keep going as the waves just keep getting larger and larger.At one point I remember thinking of the different ways I had dreamed of the world ending. I remembered my huge wave dream that ended life on Earth as we know it, but then the Earth rejuvenating itself. I look up and see the sky is very dark and menacing.
I finally run far enough where the waves are only coming up to my ankles. I climb up a wall next to a two story house. I am trying to get on top of the house by climbing up the side of it using the gutter drain. It breaks away and falls to the ground. The racket causes an attractive young woman to come to her bedroom window. I tell her I am sorry to have broken their gutter but that I was trying to get away from the flood. She says something about how nice looking I am. I think to myself I can't look that good, standing there in tighty whities, soaked in brown water. She asks me if I would like to come in.
I get inside and meet her mother and father. I explain I am a casino manager on vacation and about the flood. They agree to help me get some clothes. I admit to them and apologize about knocking down their gutter drain. They are planning on helping me and everything based on just my word, when the father changes his mind and asks me for the number for my workplace. He calls and I can hear that they are telling him that I do indeed work there.
The send me upstairs with their daughter to get some clothes. I think to myself that they are awful trusting sending a half naked man off with their daughter.
They decide that we should go out to dinner. We are all outside about to get into the car. The father hands me the keys telling me to drive. The father and mother get into the back seat. The daughter and another person, I feel like I know but cannot place, get into the front with me.
We are driving down towards the beach when the brown standing water appears. I remember thinking that they must believe my story now. I see other cars driving through the water so I continue driving into it. We reach the restaraunt. The water is kind of deep. Someone mentions that it will be impossible to get in without getting soaked. The mother says that she knows guys like me are chivalrous and will carry them.
Next we are walking down a hall towards the dining establishment. The water starts getting deep again and I take off everything but my underwear so I won't get my clothes ruined. We are being led into the dining area when I excuse myself to get cleaned up. I remember going into a room that is surrounded by wire fencing. I am looking for somewhere to straighten myself up without being seen but everywhere I look there are restaraunt employees.
Additional Comments:
I remember when I went to sleep thinking that I might be more conscious of my dreams as I hadn't been awake for too long before going back to sleep. D and I were talking about alot of stuff. I remember at one point we were talking about some of the horrors of the world and how our reliance on oil is fueling alof of it. I had said something about destroying the Earth and she corrected me with the fact that we won't destroy the Earth, just ourselves. The thought of the Deluge dream I had many years ago came to mind, just the way it did in this Dreamtime adventure.
