Lucid Intent? No

This dream took place around the area where I grew up. I was in the woods far from that area with my younger sister (we might have been riding horses) and I saw a wolf following us. I think it was part of a larger pack of wolves I saw with very large fluffy tails. We made it to the church that I used to go to as a child that was near my parents house. We left the horses in the parking lot. The next thing I knew I was riding a bicycle into the church and taking it downstairs with me. There were kids around and I saw one of my housemates, Paul Vites, running around and playing with the kids.

I tried to just go out the back door and stop being a distraction. I made it I guess and came back up the hill to the parking lot where the horses were waiting. They were scoffing and seemed anxious. One of the them was more worked up than the other. I either rode the horse or the bike down to the nearby beach and I was there for a few minutes. I saw my family and uncle. My uncle looked at my shirt like he was asking what the "V" stood for (I was wearing my work shirt) and I just rode off on the bike without answering. I also remember vaguely my mother saying something about me being 19 (I'm actually 23). My sister were around too and were riding together. I just took off up the hill and it felt so good to be outside with the wind in my hair, it was nice out, the trees had leaves, there were pumpkins around the end of each driveway which was odd and I remember trying not to look at a dead squirrel on the road.

When I came up the hill where it would normally just be houses and then a dirt road, there were suddenly stores and a coffee shop. My sisters had stopped and were buying something. I thought about getting coffee but decided against it. I was a little offended by these stores taking over a once peaceful and more natural area.

In another part of the dream I was staying in a small condo or cabin. It was a pretty nice place and I had it to myself. My exboyfriend, Taylor, was there. I was giving him a massage I think (clothes on) and then we kissed. He felt warm. Some other people showed up at the cabin and came inside. They were talking about going for a bike ride and I thought that sounded like a great idea. I could see out the open window that there was grass and a bush with big dark berries on it.

Additional Comments:

To dream that you are kissing your ex indicates that you are looking back on the positive experiences and good times that you shared with your past love. This dream may be triggered by some major change in your current relationship and how far you have come from those past relationships

Massage
The dream also represents nurturance, ease and comfort.

Bicycle
To dream that you are riding a bicycle signifies your desires to attain a balance in your life. You need to balance work and pleasure in order to succeed in your current undertakings.
To see a bicycle in your dream indicates that you need to devote time to leisurely pursuits and recreation.

Horse
To see a horse in your dream symbolizes strength, power, endurance, virility and sexual prowess. It also represents a strong, physical energy. You need to tame the wild forces within. The dream may also be a pun that you are "horsing around". Alternatively, to see a horse in your dream indicates that you need to be less arrogant and "get off your high horse".

Wolf
To see a wolf in your dream symbolizes survival, beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace. You are also a loner by choice. Negatively, the wolf represents hostility, aggression, or sneakiness. It may reflect an uncontrollable situation or an all-consuming force in your life. This could point to an obsession, an addiction or something that is beyond your control.

Uniform
To dream that you or someone is in uniform signifies your need to belong or be part of a group. Alternatively, the dream may suggest that you are conforming too much to the beliefs of others. Learn to think for yourself and be your own person.

Roadkill
To see roadkill in your dream represents unavoidable death. The death may be a symbolic death representing an end to a habit, behavior or idea. It is time to let go of old habits and put those ideas to rest, as you are only prolonging the inevitable. Alternatively, roadkill suggests that there is some issue in your past that is hindering your pursuit of your goals.

Berries
To see or eat berries in your dream indicate that you will be involved with a fulfilling relationship or experience. In particular, if the berries are poisonous, then it suggests that you are in danger of becoming negatively influenced by something or someone.

Pumpkin
To see a pumpkin in your dream implies your openness and your receptiveness to new ideas and experiences. A pumpkin is also symbolic of female sexuality. Alternatively, the dream may relate to the popular fairy tale of Cinderella where a carriage turns back into a pumpkin. In this regard, a pumpkin may represent some situation in which time is running out.

I slept in today and went to bed fairly early which explains why there was so much in this dream. The most vivid parts were the kiss, the pumpkins, horses, and bike. Most of these symbols are positive. The dream is stressing ideas of balance and finding strength which is great. I do need to find balance because lately I feel like I just focus on my job and homework and don't put much effort into friendships or relationships. I'm just being careless when it comes to my life lately and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Hopefully these symbols are right in forecasting some positive relationship or experiences.

Table of elements, Joints, and a hidden room

Date of dream: Tuesday, May 01, 2012

    Lucid Intent? No

This dream started at work, specifically at the office building where I work. I think it was nighttime and I was indoors with a few other employees. I was looking around at the rooms and noticed a small room that I hadn't seen before. I went inside and it was very bright with florescent lights and an office chair and a desk rather than the equipment we usually have in our rooms. It was small and cramped with no windows. I walked in and looked to my right and there was an opening, no door, just an opening to another room that looked unfinished and very dark. There were cobwebs and dirt everywhere and I peaked around the corner to look inside. It was hard to see so I waited a minute for my eyes to adjust. I looked across the room to the left and I could see bars and some hay scattered around. I was about to say "it looks like a cell" when I noticed there was a group of small deer laying on the hay. They were the size of medium dogs and one of them turned it's head (which had some antlers on it) and snarled at me like a dog. I ran out of there and tried to tell my coworkers.

I'm not sure what happened next but I ended up outside. I was riding horses with my mom and possibly my sisters but I couldn't see their faces and I guess I didn't really care who they were. I didn't feel like I was sitting on the horse correctly and I was trying to sit so that I felt more secure. One of the riders said something about horses joints becoming more like humans and for some reason I knew what they were talking about and I added some other information about joints and horses and cows. I said that quadrupeds joints were evolving to be like human joints. (I do know a bit about joints but I don't know anything about quadrupeds joints being all that different/changing).

Somehow I ended up in a classroom or grocery store? (I continually find classes in the grocery store somehow). And someone, a young woman probably close to my age, was explaining something with the assistance of someone, maybe a man who was introducing topics and just kind of adding details. All I remember her saying was something about the periodic table of the elements. Someone in the room, maybe the person speaking said something about not understanding what it was and I said "It's like a chart of all the known substances in the world. Everything on Earth is made from these elements. There are probably more out there and we just don't know about them yet." (I'm pretty sure that's right, it came out sounding like I really knew what I was talking about. I remember feeling and believing with certainity that the periodic table would be obsolete in the future.

Before leaving the class/store, I was talking to someone outside the door and leaning down to either fix something on the bike I was holding onto or something like that. I saw a plaque near the bottom of the door. It was like a historical marker and I can't remember any dates but it said "Vogel" something. I can't remember what the symbol on it looked like.

    Additional Comments:

    Periodic Table
To see the periodic table in your dream indicates that you need to get to the core of some matter. If one element on the table stands out, then consider the significance of the letter or the letters. It may represent initials for someone. Perhaps you need to get to know this person on a deeper level. If the periodic table appears out of the ordinary, then it means that something or someone is preventing you from seeing the truth.

If the horse has two heads (one on each end), then it implies that you are being pulled into two different directions. Perhaps your strength or power is being divided. Or you are confused about some sexual matter. If you see a dead horse in your dream, then it indicates that something in your life that initially offered you strength is now gone. This may refer to a relationship or situation. Consider the phrase "beating a dead horse" to indicate that you may have maximized the usefulness of a certain circumstance.

    Deer
To see a deer in your dream symbolizes grace, compassion, gentleness, meekness and natural beauty. It has feminine qualities and may point to the feminine aspect within yourself. It also represents independence, alertness, and virility. Consider the symbol to be a pun for someone who is "dear" to you. Alternatively, the dream represents vulnerability and naivet?. As a result, others may take advantage of you and your gullibility.

    Joint

To feel or notice your joints in your dream represent flexibility. It also to a give and take situation and the need to work together as a team.

To dream that you are having joint problems suggest that things are not coming together the way you want it to. You are experiencing difficulties in your progress.

    Jail
To dream that you are in jail suggests that you are feeling restrained or censored in your work environment, relationship or situation in your life. You are feeling confined and suffocated. Alternatively, it represents self-punishment and guilt. You are involved in some wrongdoing.

    Light
To see light in your dream represents illumination, clarity, guidance, plain understanding, and insight. Light is being shed on a once cloudy situation or problem. You have found the truth to a situation or an answer to a problem. Also consider the color of the light for additional significance.

If the light is particularly bright, then it indicates that you need to move toward a higher level of awareness and feeling. Bright light dreams are sometimes common for those who are near death.

To see soft or shadowy lighting in your dreams indicates feelings and thoughts from the primal aspects and less developed parts of your subconscious.

To dream that you cannot turn on the light indicates a lack of insight and perspective on a situation.

    Market
To dream that you are in a market represents some emotional or physical need that you are currently lacking in your life. You may be in need of nurturance and some fulfillment. Consider the specific items that you are shopping for. Alternatively, the market signifies frugality.

    Classroom
To dream that you are in a classroom indicates that you are learning an important life lesson. Alternatively, it symbolizes personal growth. You are learning something about yourself.

    Lecture
To dream that you are giving a lecture suggests that you are becoming somewhat of a bore. You need to improve your communications skills. Alternatively, your dream may serve as a continuation of your intellectual thinking, carried over from your waking hours.

To dream that you are listening to a lecture indicates that you need to do some research and weigh out your options before making a decision on some matter.

I guess what I'm getting from this dream is that there are some aspects of myself that I don't understand (represented by the dark room with the jail cells and the feminine deer that have dog qualities) or that I'm repressing. There is also a strong desire for me to figure out why I'm doing that and what the root of the problem is, why does that part of me growl and distrust people (represented by the classroom/lecture/periodic table). It seems like the dream is giving me some advice, to be flexible, let things come together, stop being a bore, get off my high horse, and let go of old problems so the caged aspects of me can stop being jailed.

    The Bathtub won't hold water

This dream jumped around and had a lot of people in it. I don't rememer the chain of events very well, I remember being at the grocery store and hearing some classmates say my full name. Then I was in my bathroom and trying to take a bath but the bathtub wouldn't hold water. I remember everyone around me seemed really unhappy and depressed but I seemed happy and wished everyone around me was happier. There were a lot of houseplants in the dream. Also my parents were divoricing, my sisters were all crying and I was comforting my youngest sister, who in the dream was very small and young even though in real life she's grown up and bigger than me. I was never alone in the dream, there were always classmates, housemates, or my family around.

    People

    Divorce

Alternatively, the dream suggests that you have a fear of separation or fear of being alone. You may be unsatisfied with your present relationship

    9/4/12

I actually removed the part of the divorce interpretation that makes the most sense to me now...

"If your parents are not actually getting a divorce, but you dream that they are divorced or that they are getting a divorce highlights conflicts within your own self. You are struggling with pleasing both your parents without disappointing the other."

This has new meaning now. Also- isn't it a little strange that my parents were divorcing but I had no negative feelings about it? I remember having another dream of my parents divorcing and I was upset... but I wasn't sad they weren't together... I was freaking out because I was supposed to be left with my dad.
