I'm in my house. It looks exactly like it does in real life. I get a view of the neighborhood, from above, and everything is torn down. When my vision goes back to my house, things are out of place. A few things are broken, and the light is different; gloomy.
I'm seeing everything from above again. There are men riding on motorcycles at the back of my neighborhood. They are shooting houses, and any people they see. I notice their clothing, and know that they are Nazi men. I think to myself; "What's going on? Why are they here?" I realize that we are what they are after. I know that I must hide.
I can hear a motorcycle coming in the direction of my house. My parents rush outside with the neighbors. I run upstairs to look out the window, so I can get a better view. The man rides past my house, not even paying attention to them. I walk back downstairs, and suddenly, guns are going off. I drop low to the ground quickly, and crawl behind furniture in the living room. I'm crouched between the rocking chair and the couch, where the end table should be. I cover my head with my hands. But, I hear crying, and look up.
There's a little girl standing in the middle of the floor; the bullets fly past her. She's a toddler; medium skinned with short, brown, curly hair and dark green eyes. She's wearing a torn, old-time dress. I reach my hand out to her, but she's too scared to grab it. The bullets stop for a few seconds, and I pull her behind the chair. I position my body over her, shielding her from any bullets.
I can see a Nazi man standing at the end of my driveway, patrolling the streets. He sees movement in my house, and shoots. I look the opposite way, and see more children sitting on the couch. Their hands are covering their ears, and they're crying and screaming. I call to them, and hold out my hand. I know some of these children..they are my neighbor's kids. They scurry beside me on the ground, and lay low.
We're all huddled close together. The Nazi begins to shoot in our direction, but the bullets are too high at first, and the chair is protecting us. But suddenly, some of the bullets curve around the chair and stick to it, right in front of my face. I gasp, and scoot as close to the wall as possible. I glance at the bullets, and notice that they're more like spikes.
The shooting continues in the same fashion, until I wake up.
Additional Comments:
All of the scenery is familiar; it's exactly like my neighborhood. The only people who were not familiar were the Nazi's and some of the toddlers. The whole thing reminded me of "Hannibal Rising." The little brown haired girl was the most confusing part, tho. She seemed too familiar, even though I've never seen her before; but I just had to protect her. She reminded me of what my child would look like if I had a kid with my current boyfriend.
