I'm at my home in California. Somehow, a dog enters our living room. I assume that it belongs to a neighbor. By dad doesn't seem surprised by it. It's very friendly, and I decide to play with it. I then figure out that it want to play catch. I grab an object (I forgot what) outside the living room in the back yard. I throw the object in the direction of the ladder to the roof. As the dog runs to get it, I notice that it passes by a mummified human corpse in fetal position. I am horrified and realize that I'm dreaming. I force myself to wake up by jumping in the direction of the corpse, closing my eyes, and pretending that I'm asleep in bed.

This is one of the more memorable dreams I've had lately, which is why I'm recording it.

I am at the grocery story. It looks like the grocery store I normally go to, only it is supposed to be in London. There are selling a particular type of fish --- the fish are large whole fish, but what makes them unusual is the fact that they're skinned. I somehow find out or just know that it is British custom to eat this particular type of fish when your father has just died. They are selling this fish at the store today because they know that somebody's father died. I know that it is my father who died. I'm not really bothered by the death of my father. Also, I think somehow my father is none the less present with me at the store. These fish are absurdly expensive, thousands of dollars an ounce (or whatever unit they sell fish by). I know I can't afford to buy the fish, but it seems like such a waste not to since the fish is being sold just for me. I notice that the other fish being sold are expensive too, just not nearly as much as the weird skinned fish. I suspect there much be a fish shortage from overfishing, explaining the outrageous prices.

1st part: I am getting ice cream. I want butterscotch, but I'm worried that they're out. However, they're not out. I order cookies and cream ice cream. For some reason I'm disappointed. I also remember Lisa Simpson being present in the dream. She looks more real than her cartoon image, and I remember acne on her face. She is wandering around with a blanket she loves very much, but eventually it gets ripped when she uses it as a parachute and gets stuck in a tree. I also remember going to a little store to buy some club soda.
2nd part: I'm back home with my friend, Z. She removes a rocket model from the trunk of her car, about 6 feet tall and made out of some flimsy material. She said that it's for some science project she's conducting over the summer. I'm confused, because I thought she was interesting in law school, not becoming a scientists. Then some other people from my high school enter the scene, I forgot who exactly. Someone says that Bth is enrolling in a SUNY school in New York. They use some adjective that I'm unfamiliar with to describe the reason that she chose the college, like, "She's going to this college because it's very [whatever the word was]." Apparently, the word refers to being extremely well-dressed. However, I then see Bth and notice that she's wearing sweat pants/shirt, which is hardly fashionable.
3rd part: It is the future, and there is a major war going on. I am in a tall building (like a skyscraper) that is entirely dedicated to military recruitment. There are many young people in the room. Somebody asks everyone to explain their stories about joining (or not joining) the military. I remember that there's an Asian girl, but I forgot what she said. I also remember a chubby bearded guy. I'm a bit confused about what he's saying. It has something to do with him trying to enlist as a chaplain, but they wouldn't let him the first time. I think the reason has to do with the fact that they think he's trying to convert people, which is against military policy. However, he insists that conversion is only wrong if you're proselytizing to an important person, like the President, which he wasn't doing. As a result, he's trying to join again. I then go outside to the roof of the building. The building looks more like a mountain of stones, and I'm trying to find the stairway. There are tsunamis nearby, and I'm worried they're going to destroy the building. That's why I'm trying to escape.
Additional Comments:
Precog: Today, my roommate invited me to go out to get ice cream with her, so we did. Also, I found an article today talking about how New York City was likely hit my a major tsunami thousands of years ago.
