Meet an Airedale Terrier and see an old woman in black

I am much younger, about 25 or so. I am walking across lawns in a residential area -- not on the sidewalk. I see an Airedale Terrier on one of the lawns ahead of me. (Looks like it is about three lawns away.) I look across the wide street to houses on the other side. I see some people sitting on a porch swing who are concerned for my safety. (A large Airedale, who thinks that his territory has been violated, can be aggressive.) Anyway, I keep on walking. Some how the dog has gotten behind me and is running towards me. I dropped to the grass, lying on my side, and wait for him. He comes to me and lies down beside me. I then see a well-dressed older woman, dressed in black, in a large, slow moving, black sedan. (She is a passenger. It looks like she is being chauffeured.) She had a small dog with her -- perhaps a Papillion or a Yorkshire Terrier, which was black. (I realize that these are not black breeds.) I begin to get up, off of the lawn, when the dog uses his teeth to grab hold of my jacket (light brown?). He did this so that I would not leave him.Additional Comments:
The old woamn may be the third aspect of the Triple Goddess (the Crone). She signifies old age or death, winter, the end of all things, the waning moon, post-menstrual phases of women's lives, all destruction that comes before regeneration through her cauldron of rebirth. Crows and other black creatures are sacred animals to her. Dogs accompanied her usually and guarded the gates of her after-world, helping her to receive the dead.
