For some reason, there were two identical versions of my friend Rich - one was still called Rich, the other was sometimes called Mark, sometimes Chris, and sometimes Rich. The one whose name kept changing was very sweet and quiet and kind, whereas the other one was very loud and outgoing, and very funny. I'm not sure how I'd realised, but I had suddenly become aware of the fact that I had been going out with both of them for about 3 years. Despite the fact that we all worked together, they somehow didn't know. Someone had mentioned something to the quiet Rich, and he had asked me if I was seeing anybody else. I insisted I wasn't, but when I sat and thought about it, I realised he was right. I realised I was going to have to make a decision. I spent the rest of the day with the quiet Rich, and had a really nice time, and was considering choosing him. I then went to lunch with the funny Rich, and I also had a great time - I spent the whole time laughing so hard. I realised I was in an impossible situation - I couldn't bear to be without either of them, but I also knew if I did nothing, or stopped working with them, they'd find out and I'd end up being with neither of them.

All I can remember from this dream is one scene where I was with a female friend in someone else's house. We were in the living room, and we did something which resulted in the whole room being showered with broken glass. The glass was absolutely smashed into tiny pieces, some as small as grains of sand. I think we had fallen to the ground when the glass broke, so now we were laying in it. We very carefully stood up and went to the hall to find a hoover. There was one there, but when we picked it up it fell to pieces. We tried to put it back together, but we were really conscious of the fact that the house's owners would be back soon, and we were running out of time to clean up.

There was much more to this dream, but I now only remember the final scene:
I was inside a sort of bamboo hut in a jungle. It seemed pretty homey and nice, but everything was made of bamboo and wood. There was a small cartoon-like gorilla in the hut - it looked like something from Disney's Tarzan cartoon. It was following a set of tiny footprints on the floor. It seemed really happy and exciteable. I looked at the tracks and saw that they led to a corner of the room which was concealed by some sheets and clothes hanging up to dry. I knew that there was a hunter hiding behind the clothes, and that the tracks were a trap. I wanted to tell the gorilla, to help in some way, but I couldn't. Eventually, the hunter grabbed the gorilla and dragged it away, while it screamed.
I went to another corner of the room, where there were two men. One was standing over a large glass bottle on a table. He asked me if I knew the similarity between the jar, and some city in Eastern Europe. I asked if it was something to do with the fact that there had been a bomb in the city, causing the whole place to explode. The man told me I was right about the city, but wrong about the connection. As he talked, he poured sweet chilli sauce into a small opening at the top of the jar. He lit a match to the sauce, and instantly the whole jar exploded. It happened so quickly that I was taken completely by surprise, and woke up with a start.
