I was on a business trip with a number of people from work, and we had gone to an old-fashioned town. We were split up into pairs, and told to explore. I was paired with a guy I knew years ago called Nick. My ex, Rich was paired with his new girlfriend. Nick and I wandered around for a while until i got bored and left. I ended up meeting up with a woman who was quite good friends with Rich. I asked her where he had gone, and she told me he'd taken his new girlfriend to the registry office and they were going to get married. I told her that couldn't be true - he's not the type to make a commitment, especially not with a new partner. She laughed, and I asked her what was funny. She wouldn't tell me, so I kept demanding, until she finally said "don't you get it? He is the type, he's always been the type, he just wanted someone better than you!". This really upset me so I left.
I ended up running to the registry office, desperate to stop the wedding. I arrived in time, but when I tried to stop them, they just laughed. It was clear from their demeanour that they didn't even know each other that well, and I was getting more and more desperate to stop things. Again, they just laughed at me, then went inside the registry office, shutting me outside.

This dream all took place as though I were watching it, rather than being a part of it. There was a family - mother, father, and daughter (around 18 years old). They had gone to an abandoned hospital to hunt for ghosts. Ghost hunting was the daughter's new passion, though she had never seen a ghost. The parents weren't really interested, but they went along too because they knew it was important to their daughter.
Inside the hospital, everything was trashed - it didn't resemble a hospital any more. The daughter kept running up flights of stairs to get to the next storey, moaning that she couldn't see any ghosts. As the spectator, I was aware that there were in fact ghosts everywhere, the daughter just couldn't see them. After a while, the daughter ran to the next floor, leaving her parents, and both parents began to feel afraid of a presence they could feel. Knowing that the ghosts seemed to avoid the daughter, the mother ran up the stairs after her. The father stayed, feeling that the ghosts wouldn't hurt him. I could see a ghost which looked like a young Asian man, wrapped in chains. he seemed to be walking around the father, looking threatening, but the father didn't see him until they were almost nose-to-nose. He asked the ghost what he could do to help, and the ghost just laughed and said "They're your problems now". The father was afraid, and ran up the stairs to find his family. I was suddenly aware that the ghost had been a gang member in life, killed by a rival gang. He had now passed some sort of curse to the father, and I knew when the family returned home, they would be plagued by all sorts of gang violence, and also be expected to pay of the Asian man's debts.

I was walking from my house to my parents' house, when I saw my friend Rich. He was driving a bright pink car, and he told me his new girlfriend was in the car with him. I couldn't see her, but they suddenly started chasing me and trying to run me over. After a few seconds, they crashed, and now I was driving the car. I crashed, and was suddenly being chased again, and things continued in this way. After a while, I noticed that the outside layer of the car seemed to be coming loose - all of the pink casing was about to come off, and I knew if it hit me it would kill me, so the chase became even more dangerous. Eventually, the car crashed again, and this time the door opened. Rich shouted from inside that it was time for me to swap places with the girlfriend. She got out of the car and I saw her for the first time - she was in her late 40s, with a heavy irange tan, bleached blonde hair, and excessive makeup. She was wearing a skin-tight silver dress, and was clearly incredibly drunk. I looked into the car and saw that she had vomited into the footwell of the drivers side. Rich was still beckoning me to get in the car, but I just shook my head and kept walking.
