I was sitting at home with my stepdad and my nan, and we were watching television. There was a pile of dvds on the table, which we were planning to watch later. I knew I was in my home, but it looked different to my actual house. I was really heavily pregnant, and was wearing light blue trousers, and a light blue crop top, which left the whole bump exposed. The phone rang, and my stepdad answered it. He was told that my mum had been rushed into hospital, and he needed to get there quickly. I got into a car with him, and we drove off towards the hospital. Oddly, the dream didn't follow me, it changed the point of view and stayed at the house.

A girl I used to know at school, Roxanne, walked in, and I realised she was my sister because she asked my nan where her parents were. The phone rang again, and Roxanne went to answer it. The phone was on the wall by the door to the stairs, and piled behind the door were loads of boks from the 1980s. There were some which were based on The Dark Crystal film, and one in particular was an orange-covered book about the Skeksis. Roxanne kept looking at the pile of books while she was on the phone. It was the hospital again, calling to let her know her mum had gone back into hospital. She couldn't understand why the woman on the phone was so frantic, and told her to chill. She hadn't realised that mum had gone to hospital because she was ill, she thought she'd gone back there to work, as she used to be a nurse.

I came back home, and went to explain to Roxanne what had really happened to our mum. My nan was still watching the television, but Roxanne picked up the remote control and started flicking through the channels. She couldn't find the channel she wanted, so she said she'd have to type in its address manually. She pulled out a piece of paper, which had loads of internet addresses on it, which could be used to find TV channels. I realised that I'd given her the list. She wrote down one address, and then we both left.

We met up with a male friend, who I think was my friend Ashley. We were walking towards where I work, but we stopped for a rest in a shop car park on the way through. We were sitting on the pavement, and I was having trouble getting comfortable because I was so pregnant. Suddenly, Ashley stood up and said "Oh my god, what's happening to your bump?". I realised the top of it felt a bit weird, and I looked down and saw that the baby was pshing against the top of the bump. I told Ashley not to worry, and said sometimes the baby moved and stuck limbs out, making the bump look a bit odd. The baby didn't stop pushing up though, and I realised that it was pressing its head against the top of the bump. I sat up on my heels, and the baby kept pushing up. I was the bump raise up in the shape of its head, then it turned so I could see a face-shaped lump looking up at me. It kept pushing and I saw arm- shaped bumps appear, then legs. It was almost like the baby was laying on its back on top of the bump, but it was still under my skin. It started trying to grab me with its arms, but it couldn't see. Ashley shouted out that it was trying to kill me, and I realised he was right.

Additional Comments:

The house in the dream is familiar, but I don't know where I know it from. It's certainly not my house. Roxanne was a friend at primary school, and I occasionally see her in town, but we're not really friends any more. My mum was never a nurse.

    What's In The Bag?

I was sitting at my desk at work, when the phone rang. I answered it, and a woman said "Am I too late for the post?". I told her I had no idea, she wasn't talking to the post room, she'd called the IT department, but she didn't understand, she just said "So, have I missed it?". I said I didn't know, but we'd had our last post delivery of the day, so she probably had.

There's a gap, where I did something I don't remember - I think I was at a party or a club. I was in Salisbury (a city near my town), and it was quite late at night. I was supposed to meet my ex- boyfriend, Gareth, in a bar. I walked in, and the whole front of the building was made of glass. Gareth was sitting in a green beanbag, with a glass of wine in his hand. The walls which weren't glass were all painted pale green. There were lots of other people in the bar, but nobody seemed to notice me.The way everyone was dressed, and the general feel of the place, made me feel out of place, because it all seemed really upper class. I even felt uneasy when I went over to Gareth, because he was part of this class that i wasn't a part of.

I sat down at a table, and Gareth gave me a gold velvet bag, which was tied at the top. There was a photograph of a Japanese lady tied on to the bag, and there was a red gemstone, which looked like a garnet, on the ribbons which fastened it at the top. I tried for ages to undo the bag, because I really wanted to know what was inside, but I couldn't undo the knot.

    Additional Comments:

Gareth is from the same social class as me, and I know him way too well to be intimidated talking to him.
