I was in town, andI started to feel ill. I had a stomach ache, and I felt just generally strange, but I couldn't describe it. I went to my doctor, and she told me I was 3 months pregnant. I told her this was impossible, there was no way I could be pregnant because I hadn't had sex with anyone in the last three months. She said she could check the file, and find out who the father was, so I said that would be good. She opened up a file and said, I can see the name Tony, who do you know called Tony. I told her that I used to go to college with a guy called Tony, and that our whole class did meet up about three months ago. She told me that was when it had happened.

I took her word for it, and went off to find him. On the way, I met my friend Lisa, who has already had a baby. As I was chatting to her, I went into labour, and gave birth right there on the street. Nobody was staring, they just all walked past as though it were normal, and Lisa helped me. I was surprised that, although it did hurt, the pain was nowhere near as severe as I'd been told it would be. The baby was a boy, and Lisa named him Lee, after the father of her baby. I took the baby and thought I'd better go and find Tony, when it suddenly occured to me that it couldn't possibly be his baby, because I'd never had sex with him. Lisa and I walked into a supermarket, while we discussed how I could have become pregnant if it wasn't how the doctor had said. I woke up before we decided.

Additional Comments:

I haven't seen Tony in ages, and I definitely never slept with him, or had any kind of non-friend based relationship, or felt attracted to him in any way. Lisa, I hadn't seen for ages until last night, so that's probably why she was there. She was the first of my friends to have a child, so maybe I assosciate pregnancy with her?

    First Aid Exam

I was still at school, but the school was built on the site where my workplace actually is. I'd been away for a while, doing some kind of exchange trip or study break or something. When I came back, I went over to my best friends from school, Becky, Sam, and Kerrie. They told me that we were due to do an exam today, and I had to take the exam even though I hadn't been in the classes. I was worried, but I was fairly confident that I could get through it. We all queued up outside the exam hall, and eventually got shown in. Instead of being at individual desks, the four of us were sat around one table. I looked at the exam paper, then I looked around and saw my friends folding pieces of cloth to make arm slings. i realised that the exam was on first aid, and I panicked, because I didn't know the first thing about it.

I made an excuse to leave, saying I needed the toilet, and I ran across the car park to the toilet block. I decided that I was going to have a shower, so I walked over to the shower section. Each shower had a picture of a sports activity on it, and I knew that I only wanted to have a shower in one with a picture of a swimmer on it. I moved along the row, and eventually saw a row of showers which all had different swimming pictures on. I was still wearing all my clothes, but I was about to step into the cubicle. I saw a girl staring at me from the other side of the room, and she looked scared. She was wearing her underwear and a vest top. She looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place why. She was only about 14 years old. She started to walk towards me, really slowly and stiffly, and she was still just staring with her eyes wide. I realised that she was scared, so i went over to her. I noticed that she had been crying. She asked me if i had any money, and I checked my pockets, but I only had 5p. I asked her why she needed it. She didn't answer me, but she leaned her head towards the machine on the wall which sells feminine hygiene products. She was still just staring straight in front of her. I said I was sorry, but I only had 5p. She was welcome to have it, but I didn't know how much use it would be. She asked me to put the money in her pocket, but I couldn't see a pocket, so I sort of tossed it to her, and she caught it in the bottom of her vest.

I left the toilet block and went back to my exam. It was still in progress, but was now on a different subject. I still didn't know anything about this subject either, so I made another excuse to leave. I was walking round outside, and I came to a really old and dingy block of flats. I was at the back door to the flats, which led to a grey concrete staircase which went up right to the top of the building. My friend Matt walked up from behind me, and walked straight through the door. About 5 steps up, he turned back round to me and asked me what I was waiting for. I didn't know where we were heading, but I followed him anyway. He had a little plastic tub of something which looked like sweet and sour sauce, and he was eating it with his finger. I suddenly had a sharp pain in my stomach, and bent double groaning. Matt didn't seem to notice. I wondered if I'd got food poisoning from the sauce.

    Additional Comments:

As with all my dreams which are set in the past, I still looked and felt as I do now, but I knew it was years ago. The girl in the toilets looked vaguely like a girl I know, Kirsty, but I don't know if it was her. She was almost in a trance, just staring off into the distance, and speaking sluggishly.

    Hospital Road Rage

I'd just started working in a hospital, and there was another new started who was there with me. As we were walking down the corridor, an elderly black man came up behind us on a motorized scooter - the type they use in airports to carry luggage. He kept hitting people with the scooter because he was going too fast. He never spoke, and never apologized, he just sat and waited for the people to get up and move before carrying on. He hit two young men, one after the other, who just got up afterwards and walked away, muttering abut him. The third person he hit was another elderly black man. He was dressed in a navy blue pinstripe suit, and he had a monacle, and a gold pocketwatch, and had grey hair. He was hit really hard, so I went over to help him with the other new guy. The driver just sat there, and didn't even make eye contact. We helped the man up, and asked if he was okay. He said he'd hurt his back, but he didn't need any help, then he hobbled away.

I went home, and was watching the Antiques Roadshow, and they were featuring a girl who had collected hundreds of small, grey, stuffed bears, which were called Huggy Bears (I know - I didn't get the Starsky and Hutch thing in the dream - it seemed like a perfectly normal name at the time). The presenter said she had too many to value all at once, plus because of the way she'd piled them up, there could be valuable ones at the bottom of the pile. He said he was going to split the group up. It cut to another shot, where he'd split the bears onto two seperate tables. He pointed at one table, and said those bears didn't belong to the girl anyway, they belonged to her mother. He pointed at the scond table andsaid "THESE are your bears", but both tables were nowfilled with vases, not bears.
