This dream has been viewed 4175 times.I was in a car with a friend - I can't remember who it was - and we were driving down a hill. There were some orange lights next to the road, which started flashing as we approached. We realised it was a level crossing warning, and that there must be a train approaching. We stopped near the lights, but then realised the barrier was actually further down, so we moved up to it. As we were sitting there, another car drove along the railway tracks. I said that she was cutting it a bit fine, because the train would be along any second. Suddenly, my friend started driving forward. I panicked because I thought she was going to drive out onto the tracks, but she was actually only turning the car around.
We parked in town, then parted ways. I saw a big crowd up on street. so I went up there, and found all of my friends waiting in the crowd. I asked my friend Callum what was happening, and he said they were waiting in a queue because a new antique shop was opening. I asked him why they wanted to go to the opening of an antique shop, and he told me it was one of the only places in town underage people could drink. As I looked around, I realised that everyone in the crowd did indeed look under 18, and many were drinking beer, so it seemed everyone else had the same idea. I tried to tell Callum that all of our friends were over 18, so we didn't need to go there, we could just go to a bar, but at that moment the doors were open. We were near the front of the queue. They were performing bag searches at the door, so I waited while the doorman searched my bag, then I went inside.
Although there had been a huge queue, there were only about 15 of us inside the shop, which looked like a normal antique shop. I started to look round, when an older man approached me. He looked like he was in his early 60s, and was wearing a suit, and appeared to be upper class. He introduced himself as the owner of the new shop and asked me if I'd like some juice. I said I would, and he passed me a plastic cup with a lid on, like you get in hospital, with tomato uice in it. He was talking to me while I drank the juice, about how he set up the shop, but I wasn't really interested. I started to feel uncomfortable because I got the impression he was trying to chat me up, so I made my excuses and started to walk away. As I left, I dropped my handbag, and all my things fell out. I had to scoop everything back into the bag. For some reason, everything inside my bag was orange - including a huge collection of identical orange, plastic necklaces, and handfuls of orange incence cones. I picked everything up and put them back in my bag, but it seemed no matter how much I picked up, the orange incence cones were still on the floor, so I left them.
As I stood up, I noticed my ex-boyfriend, Gareth, sitting on a bench in front of me. He was sitting between two women, and he had his arms around them. He didn't seem to notice me. He was talking to the women about politics - he was saying that the Liberal Democrats had a plan to do something involving the Queen, and if it worked, it would send the Labour Party into administration. He was saying that even though he was a Lib Dem supporter, and he hated the Labour Party, he thought it was an unfair tactic.
Additional Comments:Something weird: The only friends who stuck out to me in this dream were Gareth and Callum, and when I woke up, there was a text message on my phone from each of them.
