I was in a city which looked really old fashioned - I think it was a warped version of Salisbury. My parents were with me, and we were going to be there for a few days. We were staying in a large ancient building, which had loads of small rooms separated by archways, with no doors. I was laying on my bed inside a tiny room - it only had a bed and a bit of floor space. I turned over, so that I was facing out into the room, and I saw my grandmother standing next to the bed. I knew that she'd died nearly 10 years ago, and I knew that she was some kind of apparition, but I wasn't scared. She seemed tiny - only about 4 feet tall, so I got out of bed and knelt next to her. I gave her a hug, and she felt solid - not a ghost. I was really aware of the fact that the skin of her face felt soft against my cheek - for some reason this seemed important. She didn't make eye contact at first, she just kept saying "Eypre" (pronounced eep), over and over again. I realised that this was a Welsh word (she came from Wales in real life), and was used as a greeting. I said it back to her, and she finally looked at me. She said "The war is now, it is time to battle for we are the Legion". I didn't know what she meant but I knew it was significant. My mum and stepdad arrived in the room, and my grandmother vanished. I told them what had happened, but they didn't believe me. I kept trying to explain that her face felt soft, like this was some sort of proof of her existance, but they still didn't believe me.

Additional Comments:

It didn't make much sense, but this dream was kind of nice, because I got to give my grandmother a hug again. It's weird how dreams can make you feel as though you had a real life experience with someone who has passed away but it's a good feeling.

I was a contestant on America's Next Top Model, and I was one of only a few girls left. The others were: Amanda Swafford, Toccara Jones, Yaya Da Costa, Cassie Grishom (all from ANTM Cycle 3), and Diana Vickers (Contestant on X Factor 2008). We were doing a challenge which involved a campaign with Wonderbra. We were told to go into a changing room, and in each booth there would be a bra and a tracksuit - one for each of us. We had to find our outfits and get changed, then fill in a form which asked us our opinions on the other girls. We then had to drop this form off with Tyra Banks, who was in the next room, then walk into a third room, where Tyra would speak to us on a video-link from the second room.

When we ran into the changing room, I was the first girl in, but I couldn't find my booth. I kept finding other girls' and shouting to them to come to their booth, but I couldn't find mine. When I eventually did find my booth, I realised they'd given me the wrong sized bra. When I pointed this out, they told me they didn't make bras in my size, even though Toccara's fit her perfectly, and she had much bigger boobs than me. I had to wait for ages for them to find me a bra, then when I put on the tracksuit (purple velour - nasty), it made my butt look absolutely massive. I had a microphone pack strapped to my backside too, which made it even worse. I ended up being so late that all the other girls were already in the third room, and I had to interrupt Tyra while she was making her video-link, and made a total fool of myself.

When we returned to the house, Jay Manuel, the Creative Director, asked to see me in his office. I knew I was in trouble about what happened earlier, so I was really nervous. I got to his office and he was already speaking to someone, so I had to sit and wait. I noticed a laminated letter pinned to the wall. It had a photo of Amanda on it, and seemed to be a letter from her husband. It basically said good luck, and also said "RIP to your old nose". I took that to mean she'd had a nose job, but I didn't believe that could be true because it seemed out of character. I don't think I ever actually got to speak to Jay.

I went back to our room - we all had to share a room which had sets of bunkbeds and double beds. Amanda and I shared a double bed on the right of the room - I think we were best friends. We were all sat on our beds, and I told Amanda I'd seen the letter from her husband. She asked if it was the letter where he begged her not to get with any other men. I told her it wasn't, and explained what was in the letter. She said she hadn't seen it, and she'd never had a nose job, but she didn't seem upset or worried that the letter was laminated in Jay's office, and never given to her. Someone suddenly shouted that they'd found a letter, which said we were each going to be brought in a meal - they were going to be exotic delicacies, and our individual dishes would represent what we had to act out in our next photoshoot.

Cassie's meal arrived first, and it turned out to be a huge live cockroach, with a red ribbon on its back. She was disgusted and refused to eat it, then she read the tag on the plate, and it said her theme was disgust. The other meals came in - some were gross and others were normal. My meal was a plate of noodles in a weird brown sauce, with two different types of mushrooms next to them. My tag said that me theme was variety. I ate the noodles - they were weird, but not disgusting. I don't like mushrooms, but I decided to try and eat them to be polite. I tried the first type, and it wasn't terrible. When I tried to stick my fork into one of the seconf type of mushroom, it was solid, and it started moving. I screamed, and Amanda looked over, and we realised the second type of mushrooms were actually snails. They looked like they'd been cooked or seared, but they were still alive. Yaya said that it was escargot, and it was delicious, but I couldn't bring myself to eat them, I just started heaving.

I put the plate to one side on the bed, and everyone carried on chatting, when suddenly Amanda rolled over straight onto the plate. There was a cracking noise. She looked disgusted and said "Oh my god, I just rolled in the snails and it's really slimy, do I have slime on my ass?!". She rolled over, and she did indeed have slime all over her ass, but she also had a really horrible butt - the rest of her body was pretty much perfect, but her backside was awful, which made me feel more comfortable about my own body. I had to try and help her clean the slime off, and we were collapsing in fits of laughter, saying that if someone were to walk in the room at that point, it would look really bad.

A few minutes later, Jay came back in and told us it was time for our photoshoot. He said we would each have our photo done in the bedroom, so we would all be in the backgrounds of each other's shots. He told us that when the other girls were shooting, we should just hang out and act normal in the background - not to pose or anything. For my turn, I had to pose at the front of the room with a woman whi was dressed like a French clown - more harlequin/mime style than birthday party clown. Later on when we were being shown our best pictures, mine were average. When it came time to judge Diana, who the rest of us all hated passionately, the judges told her she also looked mediocre in her picture, but the shot of me in the background was incredible. I was just laughing and pointing at something, I hadn't even been aware that the shot had been taken. We all hoped that this would mean she'd be voted out, as she had been outshone by someone who hadn't even been aware they were in the photo.

    Additional Comments:

I keep on dreaming about America's Next Top Model - it's because I watch it every day on TV, it's definitely not because I have delusions about being a model or anything! It's always America's Next Top Model in the dreams too, never Britain's, which would be more fitting.

I was staying at a hotel with my best friend Shell, and her boyfriend Flash. We were all in a room which only had one big bed. I slept on the left, Shell was in the middle, and Flash was on the right. It was morning, and we were all awake and just sitting in the bed chatting. Shell got up and started getting changed, and said we should go down for breakfast. I wanted to go back to sleep, but she insisted, so we all got  up and went down to the cafeteria.

The cafeteria was huge, almost like an aircraft hanger, and when we arrived we went to sit towards the back. We were chatting, when my friend from college, Barry, arrived. He was acting really smug, and he clearly thought I was attracted to him, though I wasn't. He said he'd developed a technique which would make women totally relax, and asked if we wanted him to show us. I said no, but Shell and Flash said they did, so I agreed too, though I said it in a really bored voice. He stood and waved his fingers at me. i asked if that was it, and said I didn't feel any different. He said that wasn't it, he was just warming up. He told me to lay on my back on the table, which I did. He then picked up my left leg, and started massaging my shin with his fingertips. I immediately felt my leg go totally numb. I was shocked, because I hadn't expected anything to happen. He then picked up my left arm, and did the same thing, and my arm went numb too. Finally, he massaged my head, and the entire left side of my body went numb. I was scared, but I felt incredibly relaxed, and it was nice. I tried to tell my friends how I felt, but my voice came out really slurred and slow. Barry did the same thing on the right side of my body until I was completely numb all over. He immediately brought me back to normal, and I said it was incredible, that it had been scary, but I wanted to do it again. Barry explained that it could be used to sedate people who were ill and in pain, but he said if people were left in that state for too long, then bad things would happen, at which point he pointed to a big television screen on one wall, which showed the earth being wrapped up in nets.
