I was walking into work with my ex, Rich. He was wearing a weird suit that looked almost Victorian - it had a suede jacket and an open shirt. He was also wearing cowboy boots, in thick, patterned, brown leather. He seemed really cocky and arrogant, like he was convinced he was the most impressive man in the world. When we got to the car park, we saw it had been filled with about 30 caravans. They were small, barely big enough for a person to sleep in, and they were very rounded. They each had a white roof, with a different coloured door. The fixtures and fittings hadn't been installed yet, they were just a shell, but they had a driver's seat in the front. One of the caravans wasn't lined up with the others. It had a peach coloured door. I looked inside and told Rich I thought it was cute, and made a joke about living in it. He told me to get inside and give driving it a try. I got in and started driving through the car park. I was only going slowly, but I couldn't stop - there were about 5 pedals inside, and no combination seemed to make it stop. Rich was either in the caravan or walking next to it - he was easily able to help me if he wanted to. I kept calling to him to help me stop, but he wouldn't. I ended up going round a corner, and saw that I was headed into a ditch. There was a large metal cable hanging down and I was convinced that if I hit it, I would be electrocuted and killed. I started screaming for Rich to help me, but he still wouldn't. Eventually, I hit the cable, and instead of electrocuting me, it seemed to short circuit the caravan, which then crashed into a ditch and fell to pieces. Somehow, I was completely unhurt.

We walked back round to the front of the car park, and were confronted by a man who was apparently our boss. He had been gathering the caravans so he could sell them. He saw the remains of the peach caravan, and he was furious. He started yelling at us and said "I bet one of you was careless when you parked your car, and shunted the caravan into the ditch". Rich said "That's exactly what happened, it was my fault". I was shocked that he had taken the blame. The boss asked me if this was true, and I didn't know what to say. On the one hand, I didn't want Rich to get in trouble for something I had done, but on the other hand, I didn't want to throw this gesture back in his face. I somehow knew I'd be in more trouble than him if I was caught. I panicked and said "I don't know what happened". The manager left, saying he'd deal with Rich later, and Rich smiled at me like I'd done the right thing. I wanted to thank him, but I couldn't think of the words. I was standing in front of him, with my hands on his chest, looking up at him. I wanted to say something like "It's things like that which made me love you", but every time I tried to think of a way to say it, it ended up sounding like I was saying I still loved him, which I didn't want to say. I ended up stuttering a bit, but not saying much. Somehow he knew what I meant, and he hugged me.

Rich led me inside a building - it looked like a Victorian manor house. I knew this was going to be his house, because he was marrying a wealthy Victorian woman. We went inside and were introduced to his fiance and another woman. The fiance was a pretty blonde woman, and her friend looked like Janice from the Muppets. They were both wearing ankle-length Victorian style dresses, in really bright colours. I liked Janice, but the fiance gave me filthy looks as soon as she saw me. I could tell she hated me, and I hated her too.

We were led into a big dining room, and the four of us were made to play a game which involved running round and round a huge dining table. I was at the front, then Rich, then his fiance, and Janice was at the back. As we ran, the fiance kept talking to Rich, and saying things like "Thank you for wearing your boots in bed last night, you were so gentle". I knew she was only saying it to try and hurt me, and though she was succeeding, I was determined not to let it show. There was a cat in the room, so I concentrated on it insteadm and sung a song to myself to drown her out. After a while, we all sat down in chairs which had wheels on them. I was sat with Rich, and the two women were at the other end of the table. Rich was making a joke, and he kept pulling and pushing my chair, which was making my head whip back and forth. The fiance was clearly getting annoyed, and I realised it was because the idea of him pushing and pulling me, and my head whirling about, was making her think of the fact that he and I used to sleep together. She called him over to the other end of the table and started yelling at him. I wanted to listen, because I was amused that I had upset her, but I had noticed a discarded yoghurt lid on the floor under the table, and for some reason I couldn't stop staring at it.

I was in the car with my stepdad, and we were driving down a motorway. I knew we were on a really long journey, and we were only about an hour into it, but I realised that I needed the toilet. We were driving past a service station, but I was embarassed to say I needed the toilet so early in the trip, so I said that I was starting to need to go, and maybe we could stop at the next place a little further on. He said it really wasn't a problem, and he parked the car at a little shop just at the far end of the service station. I went inside, and found it was a small shop which sold old video games - Amstrad and Atari style. Clancy Brown was in there, and he was the shopkeeper, and there were about 4 or 5 people also in the shop. When I walked in, everyone froze, and I realised that Clancy was holding them all hostage. I knew he was extremely evil, but for some reason I was confident that he wouldn't hurt me because I could see him for what he really is. I knew I'd have to buy something before he would let me use the toilet, so I picked up the cheapest thing I could find - a second hand sport game, in a really beat-up old box. When i handed it to him to pay, he started laughing at me for choosing it. I realised that the hostages were all completely on edge, like they knew he was about to do something. While I looked at them, he suddenly started attacking me. Somehow, our car was now inside the shop, so I pulled the door open to shelter behind it. It had all happened so quickly that I only now realised thathe'd punched me in the shoulder and the side, and kicked me three times in the hip, which was no extremely painful. I was absolutely stunned that he'd kicked me, and I kept saying "you can't kick me, I'm a girl!!".

The dream changed, and I was in an antique shop with my friend Rich. The shop was run by Michael C Hall and Matthew St Patrick. Rich and I were trying to solve some kind of mystery - it was important that we figure something out, but I can't remember the details. The whole mystery centred around Frances Conroy, who was really young in the dream. I had some kind of flashback to her reciting poetry on a stage, while Patricia Clarkson, her sister, danced. Frances stood to one side of the stage, while Patricia came out through a gap in the curtains. As she walked, her hair just kept coming behind her - it was abouit 50 metres long. When she reached the end of the stage, she was swung up on a hoist, her hair trailing behind her. I knew that after this, Frances had fallen into a coma, which she was still in. I also knew she had some kind of supernatural power, and she was key to figuring out some hugely important event. We were asking at the antique shop, because Michael and Matthew both were related to her, and knew a lot about her.

After a while, Rich and I were arrested, and taken to a mental hospital - we knew we were sane, but we were being put there to silence us. We were made to share a room with our friend Kevin. Next to our room was a room with a doctor named Alan, and his assistant. They were the people who were supposedly "treating" us, but they were actually just making sure we didn't get out. As part of the therapy, they would bring huge exotic insects into our room, in plastic tanks, to see how we reacted. This day, they brought in a huge spider. It was beige and brown, with stripes, and was covered in thorns. It looked more like a crab, and was about the same size. We let the spider out of the tank, and watched it crawl to the door. When it got out into the corridor, I called Alan out of his office, and Rich ushered the spider into the office. Alan and the assistant then went back into the office, and we slammed the door, and laughed as they panicked and screamed. We went back into our room, and just lounged on the beds, reading magazines.I remembered that we'd released two other animals too - one was a pink lobster-like creature, and one was a huge black scorpion. They were both poisonous, spiny and about the size of my head. I saw the pink lobster sleeping on top of a pile of clothes, but I had no idea where the scorpion was, and suspected it was underneath my bed.

After a while, when the doctors didn't come back, we decided to wander, and we found another hospital next door. It was much nicer and more luxurious, though the layout inside was the same. We went to the room which was the same as ours, and found it had one double bed, and one single. We got onto the double bed, and started kissing. After a while, we were both under the covers, and weren't wearing anything. I was doing things to him, when he started telling me I wasn't doing it right - he was really condescending, and I was offended because he implied I didn't know what I was doing. We stopped, and he started to fall asleep. I knew Kevin would be back from his therapy soon (despite us being in a different hospital). While I didn't want him to see me without my clothes, I knew I was completely covered up, and part of me wanted him to know that Rich and I were more than friends. Just then, Rich woke up, and went off to have a shower or something. I realised he wasn't coming back for a while, so I decided to go back to the original hospital. I got up and put on an ankle-length old-fashioned night dress. I  had to walk back across a busy shopping mall to get to the other hospital. I had no shoes on, and I was carrying my underwear in my hand, and I knew people were staring at me.

    Additional Comments:

The family we were investigating were most of the family from Six Feet Under - no idea why I dreamt about them. Clancy Brown was very similar to his character Brother Justin from Carnivale.

I was at home with a group of friends, we were having a girls' night in, just drinking and chatting. One of them was my friend Kelly, but there was something really wrong about her. Nobody else seemed to notice a difference at all, but I could tell that she was evil - I don't know if she'd been possessed by something, or replaced by something, or if she'd just gotten evil, but I knew she was no longer 100% human. I also knew that she could tell that I knew. Everyone else was having fun, not noticing anything different about Kelly, and then after a while everyone had to leave. I saw everyone out, then went upstairs to bed.

After getting changed, I went to get into bed when I heard a noise downstairs. I knew it would be Kelly, so I picked up a thin metal pole - no idea what it was - and went to investigate. Even before I'd gotten to the bottom of the stairs, I could see her through the bannister. She was standing in the dark living room, wearing an old fashioned nightdress - white, frilly, ankle-length. She had a thin metal pole too, but hers was more like thick wire, whereas mine was about 2 inches in diameter. She was waving it around her head in a figure 8 motion, and just staring at me. I was terrified, and started swinging my metal pole at her through the gaps in the bannister, so I wouldn't have to get too close. It kept hitting her in the side of the head, but I couldn't get enough momentum to do much damage. Eventually I gathered my courage and ran down the stairs. I reached her then started beating her with the stick until she was dead.

I started to clean up her body, but for some reason it was now tiny - it looked like a bloody foetus. I put it inside a clear freezer bag, and was going to throw it in my bin, but then I realised this was a bad idea. I knew that I wouldn't be a suspect in her disappearance, because everyone had seen her leave my house, and me lock the door behind everyone, so I didn't want to draw suspicion to myself by having the body found on my property. I remembered that I was supposed to be going to church with some people, and they were picking me up soon, so I put the remains in my pocket and decided to throw it away when I got there.

The church was a little wooden building in a forested area - it looked really old fashioned, and very American. I made an excuse not to go to the service, and wandered round the small village nearby. I found a bin on the street, waited until nobody was looking, then threw the body into it. I met back up with the people who had driven me, and we got in the car to go home. I was sitting in the back on my own, when halfway home I looked over and saw that Kelly was sitting next to me, looking really pissed off. The people driving the car seemed to believe she'd been there the entire time. I kept swearing at her, and when she reached out to grab my wrist I shouted "Get away from me, don't touch me you ginger bitch!". The people driving told me off for being so nasty to her.

There was another scene where I went to a run-down carnival with my friend Gareth - it was in a dried-up field, and everything was broken and needed painting. At one point I had to run and hide because something was after me, and he stayed to try and divert whatever was chasing me.

    Additional Comments:

This was weird - I haven't seen Kelly in ages, and have no reason to think of her as evil! I can't think why I dreamt I would be going to a church - I'm an atheist. I also don't know who the people in the car work, but they felt like some kind of parental figures, though not my actual parents.

The scene with seeing Kelly in my living room as I came down the stairs is probably because the view through the bannister is something that always plays on my mind when it's dark - I always get worried that someone will grab my ankle through the gap. I always thought I'd grow out of stupid thoughts like that, but it never happened!
