I was in London with a group of colleagues, and we were thinking about relocating out business there. My friend Kerrie was there too, and we decided to go exploring. After walking for a while, we went down an alleyway and found ourselves in a grimy underworld area. The alleyway widened, and everything was damp and the colour of rust (looked a bit like something out of Silent Hill). On the left, as we entered the alley, was a staircase which was guarded by two men in suits - I knew they were gangsters. We continued walking, and the alley narrowed again. There was a large pipe on our left, and there were three dead bodies stuffed behind it. They were clearly old - they were essentially skeletons with leathery skin stretched over them - and they were the same rust colour as everything else. We continued to the end of the alleyway, and found ourselves facing three doors. One at the dead end, and two on the right of us. We couldn't go through the doors, so we backtracked.
Just before we reached the bodies, we noticed a wooden staircase heading up and to the left. We started to climb it, and as it curved round, the walls were now wallpapered in green. There was a portrait of a woman on the wall. It was old and damaged, with tears and holes in it. At the top of the stairs was a small landing and another door. We went inside and found ourselves in a small apartment. It only had two rooms - a living room with a kitchen area attached, and a bathroom. As we entered the room, I started to think someone lived here, then all of a sudden a woman came shrieking out of the bathroom. It was clearly the same woman from the portrait, but she was old now - mid 60s, maybe 70s. She was extremely thin and quite tall, and she looked haggard. She attacked us both, quite fiercely for someone her age. I tried to explain that we hadn't meant to intrude, but she wouldn't listen to us. Eventually, we managed to incapacitate her. I don't know what we did, but she ended up sitting on the closed toilet seat, and she was unable to move. We had damaged her arms too - I think maybe we'd cut her hands off. She was still screaming and flailing, but we squeezed pst her and climbed out of the bathroom window, onto the roof. There were loads of uneven rooftops, as though there were lots of houses nearby. The roofs were all edged with decorative carvings. We climbed for ages, before climbing down a ladder into a marketplace.
The market lined both sides of a street, with stalls in the middle of the street every now and again. We walked through the stalls. I saw an Indian woman selling jewellery and fabrics, and I stopped to buy something - I think it was a cushion. Towards the end of the market was a round stall, which seemed to sell jokes and games, There were men wandering round near the stall, advertising. They were wearing strange belts with animal heads on, designed to look like they were riding on the animals back. The people running the stall were called The Randoms. I don't know why, but they were really important, influential people. They seemed lighthearted, but I knew they could be very dangerous.
I'm not sure what happened next, but I was back where I started with my other colleagues, and a few days had passed. My friend Kevin and I had been tasked with finding a location for our new business. I remembered the creepy underworld I had found, and thought it would probably be cheap there. I told Kev to follow me, and we headed back there. Inside the alleyway, the two security men were still there. I made sure to walk with my head held high, as though I wasn't afraid (even though I was) because I knew that we would need to fit in if we were going to work here. As we continued down the alleyway, we approached the bodies. I had a thought appear in my head; "If it weren't for our feet, we'd be fine". I looked at the bodies and noticed that their feet stuck out under the pipe, and could be seen from the other end of the alleyway. I realised the thought hadn't been my own, but had come from one of the bodies.
We carried on until we got to the three doors at the end of the alley. The one on the dead end was locked. One of the other two doors said "Charge Incident" on the door, and the other was blank. The blank door appeared to be a cupboard. I opened the Charge door, and inside was another body, in the same state as the others, but with a ragged hole in his chest. I realised he was a maintenance man who had died in an electrical accident, and he had just been left there. This really scared me, more than the other bodies, because this one was like a secret we shouldn't have found. We started to backtrack again, and noticed the wooden staircase. I had completely forgotten about what had happened after Kerrie and I had reached this point. As we continued on, I kept noticing things like the portrait, which made me remember bits and pieces of the incident.
We reached the apartment door, and before we went in, I recited a verse about being blind - it just seemed to come out involuntarily, almost like it was a protective charm before we entered the room. We went back inside, and I had a memory of the woman attacking us. We moved into the bathroom, and she was still sitting on the toilet seat, with her hands behind her back. I was really afraid to see her hands, but she didn't show them. She was emaciated, and I knew she couldn't move, and was starving to death. She was really subdued, and let us walk past her to the window. I tilted the glass in the window, and looked out. It was pitch black outside, even though it was daytime. I climbed out onto the roof - carefully, because I couldn't see through the darkness. Once I got onto the roof, it was sunny again. Kev followed me, but instead of being on the decorative roofs I had found before, we were on top of a tiny plain roof. We climbed down, and found ourself back in the marketplace. I couldn't remember what we were there for. I saw the Indian woman, and thought about asking her for help, but I didn't think she would remember me. As we walked through the market, I saw the men advertising for The Randoms, and realised that these were the people I had been leading Kev to. I advised him to buy a funny costume to wear before the meeting but he refused.
There was an unrelated scene at the end of the dream, where I was standing on the platform of an old-fashioned train station, waving goodbye to my mother. There was something involving a kitten too.

I was at my friend Sam's house, and we'd been having a heart to heart. i think I'd confessed something to her which I thought would be a big deal, but she'd taken it really well. She invited me to stay for dinner, and asked if I'd mind going to find her husband Rich, and their son while she started cooking. She told me they'd gone to the beach, which was only a few minutes walk away, so I left to find them. I reached the beach, and saw Rich playing with his son in the water. I waited for them to come onto the sand, but they walked right past me and didn't see me. They went and sat on a wall nearby, so I went and sat next to Rich, but he still didn't notice me - he was preoccupied with something his son was doing. Eventually, I spoke to him, and he turned round and was surprised to see me. I told him Sam and I had been having an argument, then I realised argument was the wrong word, but I couldn't think of how best to describe the discussion. I told him she'd sent me to find them, and tell them it was time to go home for dinner. While they were packing their stuff away, Rich asked me if I was ok, and I told him I thought I was going crazy. The dream then cut to an image that was apparently in my mind, of hundreds of tiny, multicoloured balls of fur, with eyes, bounding their way up a white metal staircase. They seemed to be climbing up tp a waterslide. At various points, the staircase split, and some of the balls went down stairs instead of up, and this apparently meant that my mind was working backwards. It also had something to do with my feet, but I have no idea how.
A little later, I met up with a friend called Luke, who I hadn't seen for many years. We started chatting, and ended up discovering that we could both sing really well, and we decided to form a band. The dream cut to around a year later, and we were now part of a really successful band. There were two other members - another childhood friend of Luke and I, and a guy who appeared to be a younger version of Michael Cera, who was out guitarist. We had just come off stage from a huge gig, and were in our dressing room. It had a large communal area, and a row of cubicles where we could change individually. The Michael Cera guy had become the most famous of the band, and had turned into a total idiot, who took a lot of drugs. The other guy would often team up with him, and they would both be really mean to Luke and I. Luke was my only friend left. We entered the dressing room, and the Michael Cera gay came up behind me and started hugging me, and looking over my shoulder. I couldn't figure out what was going on, until Luke pointed out that he was trying to look down my top. He laughed and called me a slut. I shrugged him off and got really annoyed - it was the latest in a long line of inappropriate behaviour, and I was at breaking point. The three guys went to their cubicles to get changed, and someone else came in. I realised it was my friend Martin, who I hadn't seen for a couple of years. We chatted, and he said I looked sad, but I didn't want to talk about it. He came up behind me and put his arms round me, and my first thought was that he was doing the same thing that the Michael Cera guy had done, but then I realised that he was actually just giving me a genuine hug. I suddenly felt overwhelmed, both that someone had made a nice gesture to me, and that someone had touched me in a gentle way, and I told him everything that had happened. He was furious, and immediately kicked in the doors of the cubicles, and started beating up both the guys who had been horrible to me. After he left, Luke gave me a lift home to my parents' house, where I spent the night.
The next morning, my mum asked me to help her with a plan. A man had done something - possibly conned her or attacked her - and now she wanted to kill him to get revenge. We knew he was going to be in the next town over at a dentist appointment, so we were going to drive there. We only had a short window of time, but my mum was sitting around in her pyjamas and refused to get dressed, no matter how much I kept nagging and begging. I went into the kitchen and found a poisonous powder which could be mixed into water to make a lemon drink, and this was how we planned to kill the man. While I was there, my friend Mark knocked on the door and told me that he and his girlfriend Nicky were going to a fairground, and wondered if I would like to go. I did, but I said no and he left. After a while, he returned (it was too late for us to get to the next town and kill the man now, and my mum was still in her pyjamas), and asked if I would please come to the fairground. He said that he'd told Nicky he wanted to go, and she'd told him they were going to the theatre instead. They ended up arguing, and she told him to go to the fair without her, but he really didn't want to go alone. I agreed to go, and told him I'd pick him up in an hour. When I got to his house, I discovered he had been kidnapped by an old lady - possibly a witch - and imprisoned at the top of a tall tower. He was held in place by a large strip of plastic which was wrapped around his waist. Another person was strapped to the other end, and it was weighted in the middle like a seesaw. I somehow knew that Nicky had arranged this because she was annoyed that he hadn't gone to the play with her, so I was reluctant to help unless I got caught by the witch too.

I was at some sort of garden centre ith my parents, and we were just wandering round, browsing. There was a group of men in one room, all talking loudly. One of them as Australian, and quite nice looking, and there was a brief moment where we made eye contact and he stopped talking. I smiled and looked away, then carried on walking round. Afterwards, I realised that he'd been wearing a tshirt with the logo of the company I work for, and I realised we must be colleagues. I'd never seen him before, and I know most of the office staff, so I figured he must be one of the remote engineers. A part of me wished I could figure out who he was and call him, but it was only a passing whim - I realised we'd never met, and a moment of eye contact was nothing to base a fantasy on.
A few days later, I was doing a job which involved me infiltrating a large corporate building. I think I was some kind of spy I had managed to get a uniform for the company, so I fitted in, and I was keeping my head down trying not to attract attention. After a while, my phone rang, and when I answered it, it was the Australian man. I was thrilled, but a little concerned at how he found my number. We chatted for a while, it was a bad line and I couldn't hear him very well, so I kept having to ask him to repeat himself. I explained to him that I was at work, and he knew what type of work I was doing, so he said he understood that I might have to stop talking for a few minutes at a time, but he wanted to stay on the phone.
I continued to creep around the building, all the while I had the Australian man on the phone. Whenever I found a restricted area or a locked door, I would stop talking while I concentrated on going in, but then the conversation would continue. This carried on for around 2 hours, and I was doing really well at finding my way through the building. At one point, I saw my ex-boyfriend Gareth. I must have told him about what had happened at the garden centre, because he knew the Australian man was on the phone, and he gave me the thumbs up. After a while, I can't remember what I did, but I managed to attract some attention and knew it was time to leave. I managed to slip out of the building, knowing I was being followed the whole time. Outside, I started to run through the streets. I was being followed by an increasingly growing group of people. I managed to cross the road and hide behind a flower bed without anyone realising, and I watched the other people run past me. I explained to the man on the phone that I had been caught, and he was worried. He started referring to me as his girlfriend, and I panicked - I wasn't ready for that. I tried to explain to him that he barely knew me, and maybe we should go on a couple of dates first, but he was clearly offended and annoyed at me. While we were talking, I realised that one of the women who managed the company I infiltrated was standing nearby. She had a group of young people with her - around 16/17 year olds, and she was teaching them how to find me. One girl was complaining that her outfit didn't look as good as it had done in the shop when she bought it. Still on the phone, I tried to sneak away, but they saw me. For the first time, I was genuinely terrified that I would be caught, and I started screaming uncontrollably, and running away towards another large building nearby.
I ran into the building, which had dozens of floors, and was laid out like a maze. I started climbing up through the floors, each being different - one was an office, the next would be a shop, then a lab, etc. At one point, I saw Gok Wan filming a fashion programme on the other side of the floor, but I kept running. The next flight of stairs was bizarre - it was made of a series of fake cushions protruding from the wall. At certain points, the next "step" was missing, but the previous one would be bouncy making it easy to miss the gap. I realised that these cushion stairs were a part of Gok's programme - the finale would normally involve the newly made-over woman making her entrance via the staircase.
The next area seemed to be a bookshop, but was made up of many interlinking rooms. The man on the phone was still there, and still annoyed with me, though he seemed concerned at what was happening. At one point, I found myself in an empty white room with three doors in it. One door led to a disabled toilet, one was where I had just come from, so I headed through the third door. I found myself face to face with the woman who had seen me earlier, so I instantly doubled back. I opened the second door, to go back where I had come from, but I saw a mob of 20 or so people all waiting for me. I attempted to run into the toilet, ut saw that there was nowhere to go. My pursuers closed in from both sides, as I dropped to my knees, crying, still connected to the Australian man's call. I realised that as I was killed, he would hear it all, and wondered if he would hang up or stay.
