This dream has been viewed 3975 times.I was going on a trip with a group of people. Most were people I work with, but a few weren't. We were going to be travelling in a VW style campervan/minibus, so that we would all fit in. I looked inside the campervan - it had two front seats, a middle section which would seat about 6, and a back section which was the same as the middle. Each section was seperated by a sheet of glass, so you couldn't hear people in the other sections. I had a seat booked in the middle section. I can't remember who I was due to sit next to, or even if it was someone I knew or not, but I was really excited that I'd get to share a seat with them, and I was thinking that it would be cool if we had to sleep in the campervan. We climbed into the middle section, and found that the seating plans had been changed, and the person I'd wanted to sit with was now not coming on the trip. I ended up sitting next to a Chinese lady, who kept crying and falling asleep.
I fell asleep too, and when I woke up, the Chinese lady had gone, and I was sitting next to a guy I work with, Mark. I said hi, and asked how long I'd been asleep, and he told me it had been about 3 hours. I asked him how he was, and he said he was absolutely desperate for the toilet. I said that I'd thought there was a toilet in the back section, but when I turned round, I saw that there wasn't. i asked Mark where the toilets were, because I knew there were some in the bus somewhere. He said that there were toilets underneath the seats, but you couldn't use them while people were on the bus, so if someone needed to use them, the bus had to pull over, and everyone else had to get off. I looked out of the wondow, and saw we were pulling up outside a petrol station. Mark told me that they usually just kept driving round near the garage, so that they could stop if anyone needed the toilet. Even though he'd said he needed to go, he didn't ask the driver to stop, and we just drove on.
When the minibus had stopped, we got out to have a meal. We were all really excited that we'd reached our destination after travelling for so long, but when i got off the bus I realised we were at my house. A woman from my office, Nicky, had arranged a meal in the garden, so we all went outside and sat around a table in the garden. I got up and walked inside, and into my bedroom, which overlooks the garden. Nobody said anything about me getting up, because they'd just assumed I'd gone into the bathroom, which was what I wanted them to think. There was a green lollypop on my windowsill, which I unwrapped and put in my mouth. Nicky noticed me, and saw me put the lollypop in my mouth, and she looked realy angry. I bit the lollypop off the stick, so it was hidden in my mouth, and went downstairs. Nicky confronted me about eating the lolly when she'd made a meal, and I told her it was a Strepsil, and that I had a sore throat. I knew she didn't believe me, but she couldn't prove I was lying, so she ignored me.
Next, I'd just been given a job in a department store. They put me on the information and complaints desk, even though I wasn't even sure what we sold. A lady came up to me and said she'd like some details on a sofa and chair set she'd seen next door, and I told her to wait while I found out for her. I went over to my new boss, and said I didn't have any of the information the customers were after, and he told me to tell them to just go away if they weren't happy. I was really uncomfortable doing this, but I didn't want to lose my new job, so I went back to the desk. As I turned round to go back to it, I saw there was a queue of about ten people, all looking angry, and I was really nervous. As I approached the desk, one girl suddenly said "Oh, it doesn't matter, I was going to ask you for an address, but there's a post box there". She walked away from the desk and put a multi-coloured letter into the post box which was on the wall behind me.
I was watching the girl post the letter, and when I turned back round, I wasn't in a department store anymore, I was in a post office, but I was doing the same job. In the department store, everything was painted white, and seemed clean and new. The post office was an ancient building, which resembled a railway station. The walls were unpainted brick, and it was quite dark. My friend, Joe, came up to the desk, and I was really happy to see him, and we started chatting. I noticed that another guy from my office, Rich, had walked in, and was browsing a shelf behind Joe. For some reason, I was really excited that they were both there, and I really wanted to introduce them to each other. I called Rich over to the desk, but then I noticed that Joe had now turned into his uncle, Shaun. It didn't seem strange to me at all, so I introduced the two men to each other. They smiled, and shook hands, but I had the feeling they didn't really like each other. Rich was wearinf a necklace, with a stone on the end in the shape of a crystal, which he kept trying to hide with his hand, and he kept making sure it was still there.
Additional Comments:Joe and Shaun look very very similar, which might be why Joe turned into Shaun. Although I know Joe better as a friend, than Shaun, I see Shaun a lot more often than I see Joe.
Also, I work on a helpdesk, but not in a shop - in a computer department of a large firm - I can see the relationship between the two though.
