Vampires and Band Competitions

I dreamed that I was in a modeling show, or something similar to that, except that I also had a band competition that same afternoon in a far-away place that was scheduled to be at a time that I would not be able to make on time if I did both things, but I decided to try and do both (that, or I was forced to, I am not sure which).
The modeling show was in a building the same size and color of my high school caffeteria, except that it was where the All the Best Video is in Oroville. It was completely filled with fog, and what all the people had to do in the fog made me very apprehensive. It was so densely full that it was impossible to see more than a couple feet in front of yourself. The whole point of the fog was so that if you come across a person in the fog, you could kill them in silence.
There were quite a few people that were already in the fog when I got there. They were all vampires. I knew how to do what they were doing, and I knew that I would have to fight for my life if I wanted to live long enough to see my band competition. I had to kill or be killed by these vampires walking around like zombies in the foggy room. They were searching for each other and whenever one found the other they would sneak up on them and bite.

That's all I remember because it's taken (believe it or not) a couple years to put this dream on the site, and I never got a chance to finish typing out the rest of the dream. I know I survived that vampire 'competition' and made it to my band director but I think the competition may have already started, or I had just made it in time to slip in and participate...
