I am on a college campus. It's familiar to me but only in my dreams.
I am walking around one of these large glass walled offices, there are small potted trees. The tile is brown, and it's pretty modern looking and clean. I need something. I forget what it was, but while I am walking around I suddenly recall that I have a dorm room here. I had not been in it in literally YEARS, like maybe I had not been in it in ten years. I am surprised that I had forgotten about it. I want to sit there in my dorm room and have a rest.
I pull out a key and put it into what I thought was the door to my dorm room, but when I open it, the door is impossibly narrow and there are soda can stack on top of one another like they are in a soda machine. It IS a soda machine, in fact, and I am wondering how in the hell I thought it was the door to my dorm room. I tell a woman at a desk that I seem to have a key to the soda machine, and I don't know why. However next time I get it right. I open the door to my dorm room. It's small but very tidy and well lit.
I also then wonder why it lay empty for so long. Had not the school noticed that no one was going in there? Am I being charged for this emptry room? I am a bit panicky by the idea. Ten years of a dorm room probably is more money than I will ever have, even if I live to be 100. The room seems to be untouched, but then I see the washing machine is on, and worse still it's sloshing water all over the place. I wonder who had been sneaking into MY dorm room and using MY washing machine, and getting water all over the place. So I was back to be angry and thinking of the place as rightfully mine.
I really can't remember anything else.
