I was in outside and looking around the ground for bottle caps. I kept findint them, but most of them
were either crushed, rusty or in some way or another not qualified for my collection. I found a lot of
familiar ones that I already have, and kept dropping those again, but then I began finding some I had
never seen before. They featured Japanese kanji characters and drawings of fruit and other things like
that. I kept finding more and more, and I was really excited. I was thinking to myself "Cool, I don't
have any of these in my collection already". The dowside was, most of them were also rusty, but I
didn't mind it because they were unique.
Additional Comments:
Been thinking about bottle caps a lot lately. I checked out a few bottle cap sites. I was surprised by how
many I found. I wasn't aware that bottle cap collecting was such a popular hobby. I think looking at one
of the sites may have influenced my dream, though there were no Japanese bottle caps on the sites I
looked at.

I was riding on a bus with a lot of people, and we were to stop and transfer to another bus across the
highway, on the way there, on the median, I kept finding all these interesting bottle caps and books of
stamps and bookmarks. The bottle caps interetsed me the most. I found one with a picture of Donald
Duck on it, and others with other various cartoon characters. I kept scooping up as many as I could but
then I had to drop everything, sadly, because what I didn't realize was that they were not finds, they
were garage sale items, and the asking price was too much. I was deeply disappointed that I wouldn't
be adding the bottle caps to my collage, and I was also a little embarrassed that I had mistaken them
for junk.
Additional Comments:
The reocurring part is the fnding of bottle caps, and other similar trinkets which I am terribly fond of. I
have a sort of bottle cap collage on my wall. I take a push pin, and super glue it to the inside of a bottle
cap and then tack it on to a cork board. It is very colorful and interesting to look at. I like for every
bottle cap to be different. Natually most of them are beer bottle caps, and I need to find them because
I don't drink beer, or buy drinks that come with metal bottle caps. I think bottle caps are very cozy
things, and collecting them makes me feel very cozy, and I am guessing that is what stamps and bottle
caps symbolize in my dreams because of my associations with them. I guess the dream is trying to tell
me that I don't have time or the resources for comfort and things that make me happy. This is very
true. I am very low on cash these days.
