One of those hotel dreams again, but this one was different. In this dream I am hanging out with my usual friends and I'd been looking for them as it was time to pack up and leave, however it seems like the entire floor we were on had been closed off to everyone, and if you had any stuff there, you were out of luck. Management was not letting you back in to get their things. The whole place was jam packed with guests all moving around in the hall ways looking for their friends or family members.
During some part of the dream I enter a very large room, like a gym. I see something moving up around above me. I see it's a bat. It's flying in huge circles around the gym, and I think about the days I used to work at the mall when bats would invariably get trapped in the mall and how they would fly back and forth and back and forth for a long time. I guessed they were looking for a way out. I feel sorry for the bat. I try to follow it where it goes and then it begins to decend in ever narrower spirals and I hold out my hand (back side up) and the bat lands right on the back of my hand, which I think it pretty neat for a few seconds until I realize it might bite me, and then there is that whole rabies thing. I panic and try to put it down on the ground ( I still try to be gentle so as not to hurt it) but it immediately chomps down on my index finger and no matter what I do I can't get it off. It's almost like it's glued to me, and it hurts a lot.
So I am running around like an idiot trying to shake a bat off my finger. I run into some people, but they don't offer any useful advice.
Additional Comments:
This is the second time recently that a bat is featured in my dreams. I used to dream about them ALL THE TIME, and they went away. I wonder if they're going to show up a whole lot again. I can't say for sure if the bat was a postive or negative symbol. I think in MOST instances the bat was an antagonistic character, but in a way I also really liked duking it out with this this animal, so in that was it's kind of a positive symbol, too, I can't make up my mind.

I dreamt that I was in a lecture room, you know one of those big rooms with the floor on an incline
so a speaker would be at the bottom talking upwards, that sort of room. I don't know what I was
doing here, but I was walking up the room on the tops of the desks, as if using them as steps. In
the far upper right side of the room I notice somethig familiar, it's a character from the cartoon
Fullmetal Alchemist, Al, and when I see him I stop and look really hard at him, not entire sure I am
all okay about that, as he seems to be a very threatening presence, but then I think hey, it's
okay, he's way over there. I keep walking up the desks, a few people seem to complain about that,
and I had been wondering where Al's brother was, when I found him, and he's a few desks ahead. I
don't slow down and I am about to climb over Ed's desk when I notice that he's looking at me with a
look of confusion and fear on his face, and then I reach my hand towards that desk to take the next
step up, and he suddenly bites my arm right above the wrist. I am so surprised I stand straight up
and yank my hand back. I think to myself I must have scared him to make him do that. I look at my
wrist and see clearly the bite mark, and I watch for the blood to start beading out of it, but I
wake up before that happens.
Additional Comments:
This dream was very unusal but not because of the appearance of fictional characters. All day long I
kept looking at my wrist to take care of it, and then I would remember, oh, that was a dream, but it
would be the first time I've ever done that. Naturally my wrist is just fine. I was reading a
Fullmetal Alchemist manga before I went to sleep last night, and laughed really really hard and long
at one of the side jokes in the very back of it. I was thinking about what the dream could mean,
since it seems to have left such a impression on me I can't help but think some sub-conscious part
of me is saying very loud and clear, "Pay attention, THIS is really important!" Though, what was so
important is unclear. This is also one of those rare dreams when I actually felt pain.

I am in a very large mostly empty room, and I find a lizard that is bright red with white stripes.
It looks like it could blend in well in a christmas tree pretending to be a candy cane. I am amused
by the creature, and let it down on my arm. The lizard then climbs up my arm and into my hair where
it starts to bite down on my skin.
Here's where it gets a bit confusing. Although the lizard is in my hair and out of my sight, in
front of me I see the candy striped lizard, as if on a big screen tv, and the lizard is biting into
and apparently trying to eat a yellow lizard with black stripes, but I also translate it into the
red lizard is bitting into me and trying to eat me. It didn't really hurt, and there was no way such
a small lizard could do me serious harm, but I still didn't want it gnawing on me, so I try to
gently pull it down. I didn't really want to do any harm to the delicate creature, just wanted it to
stop chewing on me. But the lizard has done something weird. This also defies it's size, but somehow
the little lizard on my neck is also, at the same time, also hanging all the way down to my legs (I
can't figure that out, but it's the same idea that it was chewing my neck and at the same time that
I am the yellow lizard with black stripes) by using some sort of sucking technique the lizard has
attached itself to my leg with what appears to be its anus. At least the sucking thing appeared to
be right in the same area. I thought this was werid and gross feeling, so I figure I would just peel
the lizard off of me and that would be the end of that, but apparently I rip the lizard off of me,
and the sucking part stayed behind, and now the lizard is hemoraging, and for such a small animal is
bleeding profusely, but the lizards jaws do finally open from around the part of my skin it was
gnawing on, but I felt sorry that I had to kill it. I didn't mean to. Then when I try to clean the
blood off of me, there isn't any.
Additional Comments:
Something about the lizards sounds really really familiar to me, but I can't remember what it
reminds me of. But the colors of the animals is definitely significant, and that they were biting
also seems familiar to me. That it was one of those this and that at the same time thing is also a
recurring theme.
