I only remember a little bit of this dream. I am outside, and to my left is a sort of cabin. I wasn't paying so much attention to it. It's a swampy area, and I am looking out towards the water. There are cypress trees and grass sticking up out of the water. I notice something running towards me. Two somethings, actually, I can't tell what it is, but then as it gets closer I see it is some huge animal, it runs like a dog, but has the face like a bear, and a long fluffy tail, and it and whatever was following it run past me and behind the cabin. I forget what the thing following after it looked like, but it was also something large and furry, and that ran on all fours.

* in another unrelated dream I encounter a jellyfish. It's on land, and it's massive. I remember that the creature is turned upside down and I approach it and look into its center. It's still alive, and it can move. Actually it was more like a squid than a jelly fish, sort of like a cross between the two creatures. I do what any warm blooded mammal WOULD do on such an occassion and I poked it with a stick to see if it would move some more. It writhes a little and it's not like I can push it back into the water. I didn't want to touch it for fear of it poisoning me or something.

I dreamt that I am on a cruise ship. I seem to be enjoying the upper deck in the front of the ship. It seems to be a nice day with a cool breeze. There are other people also relaxing. Behind me is a bar where you can get fancy drinks. I remember holding something in my hand (in real life I don't drink any alcholic beverages). I sit and just look out forward to the sea, and listen to the people talking, letting it all blend in. I feel pretty happy.

There is a funny sound like someone popping a champagne bottle. It disturbs me just enough to look to see where the sound came from. I also notice other people are looking to. It must have been espcially loud. Then I see a billowing black oily cloud from the lower back left side of the ship. Then gradually the sounds of screaming from the effected area towards where I was. No one moves on the forward deck, they just stare up at the black cloud, and then there is the sound of metal groaning, and then there is a second explosion right below the deck where I was. I feel scorching heat at the side of my face, and then there is a tower of fire and smoke immediately to my right. I drop my drink, and the deck begins to tilt. I feel myself sliding, and I have to get to my knees to get away from the searing heat. Some people are trying to hold onto the rails, but it's no use, the ship is going down, and it's going down fast.

It's almost like I can't feel anything as I see the deck begin to slip into the water diagonally, and suddenly I am in the water. It's so cold it takes my breath away. Breifly I think of the woman I got on board with, but I forget about her pretty much immediately, as I am now swimming for my life.

I remember some part where I am staying still for some reason, or treading water. It's hard because my clothes are soaked with sea water, and it's weighing me down. The sea is so clear, and I watch as the ship falls away from me intot he abyss. Every once in a while small orange bursts sharply contast with the outline of the ship. I spot a life boat with a few people on it, and swim towards it.

It's hard getting there. There are already so many dead bodies floating around that I have to press myself through. I don't notice that they're burned, but I suspect they perished from the cold. The people on the little boat help me on.

    I don't remember anything else.

    Additional Comments:

I think I have often has this dream, but usually only remember the swimming in the water part. I am guessing it has something to do with a past life experience.

    Hotel Room with Cats

I actually had this dream yesterday night, and didn't record it. In the dream I remember walking through a hall way, it seemed like I was running, but not really running, just moving very swifty, and I look down and see a flash of bright red and blue, don't know where it was, but I look back up and keep going. I go into a hotel room where people I seem to know only in the dream are. It is only one room and there are two bed shoved up against two different walls, but no one can sleep in either bed as they slant and anyone trying to sleep in them woudl simply fall right out, so we all decided we had no choice but to sleep on the floor like dogs would. There really wasn't too much space, but we all managed to find a comfortable spot. I had my head poited towards the back of one of them people. I seem to remember knowing his name in the dream but I can't remember anymore. There were three other people in the room all arranged in someway on the floor ready to sleep. I thought it would be really uncomfortable on the floor with no pillows or blankets, but I felt all right, and soon found myself drifting off to sleep. I move a bit and end up touching the man's back with my elbow, and then I think it's funny because instead of it feeling like the jacket he was wearing it felt like silky fur. I open my eyes and see that the man has turned into a pet cat. I shut my eyes and try to sleep again thinking that this was really normal. I think it was the case each of us could naturally turn into animals at will, or sometimes while we slept.

    Additional Comments:

In the past, like over 15 years ago, I often dreams of being able to turn into animals, often not because I wanted to, it was something that just happened, like I would turn into a wolf, but I would always be this weird color, like bright candy-apple red, and I wouldn't like this at all, as I felt everyone would look at me, and I didn't like the attention. Sometimes I encounter animals that are some weird color, or monsters. Well, I still encounter monsters a whole lot even now.

Usually my hotel dreams are about my not being able to find the room, or forgetting where my room is, or it's time to leave and I can't find my car or something. This hotel room dream seemed peacefull and pleasing, which is conrtary to most of my hotel dreams which are nearly always stressful.
