I forget where I am exactly, but I am close to water, and looking it at it. I think I remember that I want to go home, but I am really really far away, and I can't seem to figure out a way back. I had not come here by car, bus, or any other way I can think of. I am momentarily distracted when I see a dark shadow moving through the water, it comes and goes, and then I can see that it's definitely in the shape of a fish. I am really excited to see it. I tell some other people. I also think I'd like to do some fishing. Though I have no desire to catch the giant fish. I approach some old dudes who look like they're professional fisherman, they're on a peer. I want to find out if they will lend me a fishing rod so I can do some fishing. I can't get their attention.

I tell them about the giant fish I saw, but they don't seem to be paying attention. I see that one of the men was doing something with some fishing lines, and then I see that he's tossed in a whole lot of fishing lines into the the water, baited and then simply tied to the peir...no rod involved. I kind of feel that that's kind of like cheating, but I am like, oh, well, what do I know? But one of the lines goes taut, and the man pulls at the lines and behold! They had caught the giant fish. It was at least as big as a full grown man. I feel sorry for the fish and try to talk the man into letting it go. But I don't even get a chance to say that before he's pulled a knife out of his belt and then he begins to rake the scales off the fish, and hardly does that before he cuts it laterally. I back away.

Then out of no where there is also a bull there, and the same man begins to butcher it, but in the most bizarre way possible. Somehow he manages to remove the top of the head of the animal and carve out its brain, and leaving the animal still standing there, with most of it's head gone, but it's face still intact. I was pretty horrified, but also saw that I couldn't do anything and I ran away.

I decide to see if there was  bus stop somewhere, and maybe I could find a way home like that.

I don't rememeber much else.

    Dark Garage

I spend a lot of this dream feeling really uncomfortable and slightly intimidated, even though I wasn't in a position where I could have been esily taken advantage of.

I remember at first riding in an over crowded bus, cheeck to cheeck with two other passengers mashing me in. It was tolerable, that wasn't so bad, but later when I get off the bus, I feel underdressed, somehow, and feel really self conscious. I forget precisely what I was wearing or what I wasn't wearing, but I was getting oogled.

I have to go into a huge garage where several people are working on cars. It's so dark in here, and so little light I wonder how anyone can even see what they're doing. Also the floor is dirt. I am wearing only one sock, and my other foot in bare. I back up a bit and step in freezing squishy mud. I am grossed out, and finally leave the garage. The outside isn't much better.

Some sleezy dude is trying to talk to me, but I want nothing to do with him. I am not even sure what he's saying, though he is speaking English.

Later on I turn into a dragon and attack the gargage, and crush it with huge talon like hands. It was like mashing up a shoe box or something. I really hated that dark muddy garage.

    A Hail of Arrows

This dream stems from A Slowly Mending Window.

The next thing I rememeber is being outside. It is a bright sunny day, and I am running along in a field of yellow grass. I feel happy. I am a child, of about 8 or 9, and dressed in a simple white garmet of some sort. I feel like exploring, and the field dips here and there and there are large bushes around. I spot a fan shaped feather on the ground. I wonder what sort of bird it came from, because it is so short and broad. I pick it up as I find another feather. I feel happy. It's fun collecting feathers.

I jump into one of the dips in the field, right behind one of the massive deep green bushes as I stoop to pick up another feather. I hear a funny twanging sound over and over again, and I wonder what it is.

I see some more feathers and go to pick them up. I step out from the leafy bush and then realize the strange twannnng noise getting louder and closer. I turn my head towards the sound and it's all clear but then I look sightly upwards and I see a strange figure up in the air. It looks like a man with wings and he's flying through the air, although the wings actually appear stationary, and also it could also be a female figure, it could go either way. The figure had a face like the avatars in one of those paintings of Hindu gods. The figure held a bow in front of it, and this was the source of the sound. It was shooting arrows, one right after another.

This frightens me and I run and then float off the ground and beging to fly. The arrows continue to fly, and at least once I look behind me and see several gold arrows coming right at me. I attempt to dodge the arrows by flying erratically. I am lucky, they do not hit me. But then there are ever more arrows. It seems when the figure fires one arrow it turns into a whole lot more arrows, and then more, until it's really like a rain of arrows.

I don't really feel like the god is actually firing AT me, I just happen to be in its path. The arrows are coming in such profusion that I become tired, and just give up trying to dodge them. I decend to the ground and lie on my stomach with my face down and just allow whatever may come to happen.

The next thing I know is that I am looking down at that body (the one in the white garmet) from a short distance away. I see several arrows have stuck, and then see the god pass over me, but then comes back, still shooting arrows, but far fewer now. The expression on the gods face does not change.

    Additional Comments:

I think I may have had this exact dream before, but I do not remember when. I sure didn't record it anyway.
