It's December 21st, 2012 and I'm in front of my old junior highschool, McCullough. I'm standing with an asian fellow (unfamiliar) discussing the possibility of something cataclysmic actually taking place on this day. He tells me "It's highly unlikely" and that there's "No Need For Alarm".
IMMEDIATELY after he says this, the earth shifts off axis. The road is suddenly transformed into a steep incline and cars reach incredible speeds as they inevitably roll down the collosal slope. My asian friend is projected from the earth and INTO the sky, yet I manage to stand my ground. I continue watching people and cars plummet into the cloudless blue sky as I realize the severity of the situation. "The world will never be the same" I say aloud to myself
(There's a vague transition period to the next scene, but I do not recall how it happened exactly)
I'm in the school hiding in what seems to be a large janatorial closet and I understand that there are creatures coming for me. I suddenly have X-Ray vision and can see through what appears to be a fireproof gunsafe. Inside, I see an evil looking ghost woman holding a little girl that's naturally emitting green gas from her entire body (The gas was not visible normally, but with my strange vision I could see it.)
This little girl had been haunted by the ghost woman her whole life, and I now understood why. The invisible gas that the little girl naturally produced acted as a repellent against the creatures that were coming for everyone. The ghost woman was using her as a defensive mechanism. The little girl is crying because she is terribly afraid of the ghost woman and I can hear her screaming from inside the fireproof gunsafe.
There's a commotion outside the door and realize the creatures are trying to get in. I hide behind the gunsafe (which was up against the wall) because I hoped that maybe I could get inside the proximity of the girls protection. Once the creatures were in the room, I woke.
I feel confident that they wouldn't have found me
Additional Comments:
I think it's funny that the asian guy told me "There's no need for alarm" because No Need For Alarm is my favorite album.
Watching people fall into the sky was easily one of the strangest things I've ever seen in a dream, and I wonder if it's metephorical that I was able to stand my ground.
The second part of the dream with the ghost woman and the little girl was extremely strange. I'm curious to hear some interpretations ...
I classified this as recurring because I've had countless dreams where the setting is at my old junior highschool

I'm swimming through a narrow, musty tunnel with two friends. The water is deep, and the tunnel is about 13 feet wide. I suddenly get this overwhelming vibe that something terrible is going to happen and tell my friends that we need to get out of the water, now. Almost immediately after we get on to this conveniently located patch of grass inside the tunnel, a shark appears.
The patch of grass we're standing on wasn't very large, and the shark says "Nowhere to run, boy." I turned around to access my situation and noticed a window ... I put my fingers under the window-seal to open it when the shark said, "You're not strong enough to open that!"
I opened it with ease and jumped out of the window, landing on a grassy knoll about three feet below.
Additional Comments:
I feel like the shark represents something inside of me that I don't want to conform with, and me escaping through the window represents me over coming it. The dream was relatively strange, but I felt accomplished when I woke

I'm standing in front of a house with an attractive blonde girl trying to make conversation with her, but she want's abosultely nothing to do with me and tells me to "go away". It pisses me off because she's not even giving me a chance, so I persist in trying to talk to her. As I'm trying to make this good looking girl talk to me, I realize I'm dreaming. (Nothing particularly peculiar happened at all ... I think I became lucid simply because of how annoyed I was)
The moment that I become lucid, I jump directly vertical into the sky reaching at least 50 feet and float down slowly. When I reach the ground, the blonde girl is completely interested in talking to me. She's asking me questions like "How did you do that?" and "Are you human?". I decided not to tell her that I was dreaming, but instead played along with the situation. I tell her that "I'm a super hero" and she totally believes me.
Taking me by the hand she says, "I've never been with a super hero before". Leading me to the side of the house, she begins to undress and I watch in awe. She had gotten her shirt and shorts off when her mother suddenly came around the corner screaming. The mother took her shoe off and began to beat her daughter with it repeatedly. I stared at the spectacle, completely mystified when the blonde girl yells "Run!!" I jumped vertical again, and flew away.
I was kind of bummed that I didn't get to see the really hot blonde chick naked... I also felt bad that I had gotten her in trouble and considered going back, but didn't because I came to the conclusion that she wasn't real. I was flying over the forest type enviorment when I saw my moms house and decided to stop in for a visit. I landed in the backyard where my mom's husband, Mike, was in the backyard drinking a beer. He asks me "What's up?" and I inform him that I've learned how to fly. He calls bullshit and so I show him ...
I flew over the house a few times, and when I landed he was completely stoked. He was begging to know how I flew and who taught me, but I told him it was a secret. At this point in time, I remembered the theory that I had about creating objects in a lucid dream and decided to test it.
** My theory is that you can create something simply by finding it. Pretend that you want a pencil, and so you imagine what a pencil looks like in your mind. If you think about it hard enough, then MAYBE it'll be under a pillow or behind a door. It's like you found it, but you really created it through thought. **
I decided the object I would attempt to create/find would be a rifle. I ran and jumped from the ground to the roof, and tried to jump from the roof into the air, but fell directly on my face. It didn't hurt, but I was confused. I didn't understand why I had lost my ability to fly ... I was so distracted by this that I forgot to continue my creation/search for the rifle.
I spent the next several minutes trying to fly without much luck, when my father appeared. I told him that I could fly, but he didn't believe me. He busted out his video camera and told me he would put it on youtube if I really could, so I continued to try. I failed miserably and he put the camera away. I felt confused and annoyed and lost lucidity ...
Additional Comments:
I think it's funny that I never told anyone else that it was a dream. It was like a personal secret that I kept from everyone to make them think I was magical.
I wonder why I randomly couldn't fly?
I've had 8 lucid dreams in my life and I plan to post them all here eventually ... I'm relatively new. Lucid Dream #5 was just one of my favorites
