Our class had to go to the gym (to join other classes for a meeting), so we began walking over there and went outside. The sky was clear and the weather was nice. I thought the people were walking sooo slowly so I decided to take a detour to get there quicker. I went over to the left and suddenly somebody pushed me violently as if trying to knock me over. I turned around and yelled "What the fuck are you doing!?". The girl was surprised by my outburst. She said she wanted to stop me. She didn't like my behavior, cutting class and smoking weed (she had assumed I was just about to go do that). Then she said I was too cute and smart to be behaving this way. All of this really annoyed me. I told her I was just about to go the gym, and that I didn't feel like skipping class right now. She looked at me doubtfully and asked "Oh really? If your friend (she mentioned some name that started with an L or an E, I didn't quite catch it) was here you wouldn't be in class, would you?" "Who?" I asked. I didn't know anybody by that name she had mentioned. "Or whatever his name is..." she muttered. I suspected she was talking about R, and I was about to say Hell yeah if he was here I wouldn't be in class but instead I said "I don't have any friends...only a couple...". She kept looking at me contempously and said "One thing for sure, if you keep this up you're going to repeat a year". Then she turned around to catch up with the rest of our class (they were a bit ahead of us now). I thought to myself But I already am repeating my senior year. Then I took the path to the left and jumped over a wooden fence.

We weren't in the gym it was just a regular classroom. The other students in my class had gotten here quicker, and the only seats available were up in the front. Usually this bothered me but today I didn't mind, I didn't feel self-conscious as I made my way to a chair up font. I walked past David and I remembered how much I used to like him. I had believed I was in love and that it would always hurt to be without him. Now I hardly thought about him. We all watched a movie called King Cargo (a movie based on an old cartoon about a kid who was a king). They thought it was funny but I thought it was lame.

Break time arrived (at 12:00), and I was outside by the parking lot watching several students get in cars to go somewhere. I missed the times when me and R used to get high in his car. I was just about to text him to tell him to visit me in school, but I glanced up at the sky first. There were a few tiny white clouds, thin and wispy. The sight was dull and it made me feel strangely empty inside, I decided not to text him after all.
