From aliens to interns

I was in a sunny pastoral landscape waiting for a companion to catch up. There was a yellow brick road and I was standing at the end of it. I was having visions of a large alien we were supposed to encounter, it was on a different planet and the journey would be perilous. My companion was thinking twice about the journey, and I was trying to build confidence in him. I knew we could confront this creature, and before I had awareness of what to do next the dreamscape changed.
I was now looking at my college emails. A professional I have been networking with had responded to messages that had not gone through beforehand because of server issues. I was excited to hear back because he was offering me an internship opportunity. On the message he was writing that our communication was not alright with his company, and that he was getting in trouble for communicating with me, but that he wanted to take the communications to another step. He suggested that I build some type of black-box proxy from which I could anonymously reach him so we can further our communication. I was stunned but decided that it all made sense. The dream started to get blurry and I awoke.
Additional Comments:
I awoke to check my emails and the professional had responded with a positive reply. This created a very profound emotion in me and a deep connection with the potential of dreams.
