We are in a bungalow with a wrapa round balcony which overlooks a body of water. People are
jumping off the balcony into the water below. The people are friends but nobody I could name in
waking life. I look over the edge and see giant whales giding below the surface of the water. Everyone
is swimming out to a certain point and the back again. I am standing on the railing now and ready to
jump but the water looks different now and it is nightime. I ask someone if its deep enough to jump
and they tell me to move around to the side and jump from there. Then I'm wading through the water -
it is shallow and the bottom is sandy - thinking 'its low tide, of course the tides would be in effect
here.'

Standing by a deserted one lane road. It is overcast and diffusely lit. There are woods behind me and
green fields stretching out and merging with the gray skies. I see a large owl - almost as big as me -
across the street. His face and chest are fluffy and white. Wings and tail silver and black and spotted.
He takes off silently and flies right above my head - within reaching distance - and lands on a sloping
embankment by the woods, about 15 feet away. I'm on the ground now and for a moment frightened.
We are staring at each other. The owl is suddenly right next to me though I din't see him move. He is
talking to me - clicking sounds and strangely vibrating hums and noises. I don't understand what he's
saying.

Riding in the back of a pick-up truck first in a quiet neighboorhood, then onto busy road. At some point
Perry jumps out as we're speeding along after I told him not to. The road is now gravel, but still a busy
highway. Perry is not hurt and I'm both angry because he could have been really hurt but also proud
of him. Pat -the driver of the truck is cheerful and telling us not to hold a grudge as we walk away back
in the quiet neighboorhood. Rick is at a gate somber and ignoring us, waiting to talk to Pat. The
woman who was in the truck is now Mary Grace and she comments on my haircut. Hers is styled
differently than normal. Its now night and Rose, Perry and I are cutting through someones backyard
which is a field of cactuses of all different sizes and we're trying to avoid stepping on them. Rose is
fretting about lifting Perry over the fence but the gate is open - the door missing.
