Either him or "she-me"

In this dream I was a woman and some kind of agent (FBI or something else).

There was a criminal who had kidnapped me and was planning to kill me. He had me follow him somewhere and led me to the roof of a building (the area looked like a stereotypical small suburb of Athens). At some point he went near the railing and that's when I thought that it was a perfect chance to push him off.

I knew that if I didn't kill him then I might never find another chance before he killed me, so it was either him or me. Still, I was very reluctant about doing it but I thought that he wouldn't stay there forever so I didn't have time to be reluctant. I ran at him and gave him a strong push, and he fell over the edge.

I looked down and saw that there was another building next to this one, just one floor shorter, and he'd fallen on its roof. He was still very much alive and moving. So my situation hadn't changed; I still had to kill him because if I didn't he'd kill me. It was more difficult to convince myself to do it this time but I jumped down into that roof while he was still dizzy and pushed him over the edge again as he was standing up.

This time he fell two floors to street level and I was sure he must have been dead. I went down some kind of fire escape and was surprised and terrified (but somehow relieved) to find him still alive and having just regained consciousness. I knew that there was no chance for escape this time as he'd surely kill me, but then a couple of kids (a boy and a girl) came from a nearby alley (the place was all alleys) carrying colourful ribbons.

The kids started running around him as an older woman was watching them from a nearby gate. The killer was still dizzy and hadn't realised what had happened. I quickly told the woman that he was a criminal who wanted to kill me and she just nodded without changing her expression, as if she already knew that.

I noticed that the kids, who at first had seemed to just be dancing and playing with the ribbons around the killer, were actually tying his hands with them while he still was dizzy. By the time he came around completely they had tied him well and went where the older woman was. The three of them started leading me somewhere as I finally had the upper hand on the criminal and arrested him.

Additional Comments:

This is the third dream I ever remember having in which I was a woman. The other two are this and this. They have more things in common that they do with this one, but once I again I was some kind of secret/undercover agent.

I think my thoughts about having to kill this man were the same ones I'd have in reality; I'd really not like having to do it but I would if I thought it was the only chance I could survive. And if I tried and failed once but I was still in danger, the second attempt would be even more difficult emotionally.

Hidden song, new neighbour, old schoolmate (Bits and pieces)

I was playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time and couldn't remember how to play one of the songs in the game. Trying to remember I pressed Left, A, Left, A, Right, Up and the game recognised this as an actual song called "The old immigrants from Boyle". After playing the song I got a message saying "Well, that was entirely pointless!" I thought there might be more hidden, useless songs in it and was thrilled at finding more secrets in the game, 12 years after its release.

In some other part of the dream, a co-worker of mine (Vasilis) was moving in the same building as me and while we were in the lift one day he decided to open the panel and change the piece of paper with his flat's previous owner with one that had his on it. I was surprised at having forgotten the names of the people living here were written in the lift.

In some other part, my friend Yorghos who was my classmate in high school was riding a motorcycle and had stopped at the traffic lights just outside my house. Next to him on another motorcycle was someone who was 2 years older than us in the same school, telling him that he should be doing more with his life. This annoyed Yorghos who sped away as soon as the light turned green.

Additional Comments:

The game I mentioned involves playing certain songs that you learn in it on an Ocarina by pressing buttons, and if you play the right song at the right time something happens. The message about this one being pointless probably meant this song doesn't do anything and was just there as an easter egg.

I just looked up on wikipedia and found there's at least 3 places in the world called Boyle, but none of them is a country. I didn't know about any of them beforehand.

In reality there's no names in the lift. The place where you put your name is on the intercom at the building's main door, naturally. And of course my co-worker isn't moving in here.

Yorghos was a classmate of mine in primary school, not high school (but we do still meet often) and he doesn't ride a motorcycle. The other person was imaginary.

Barber locator

It was summer and I found an old shaving machine in my brother's bedroom. Inside its package, besides the machine itself, was a toy car that looked like a remote-controlled one. However it was actually automatic and you were supposed to turn it on and let it lead you to the closest barber where you could get a shave.

I turned it on outside the house and followed it through the streets. As it ran on the pavement with me behind it I saw it cleverly avoiding obstacles and a walking granny as it led me down a street nearby here, to the avenue near the sea. That's where I was stopped by a blonde woman who asked me for directions.

She was foreign so I had to talk to her in English. I tried to help her, thinking that the car was relatively slow and so I could easily catch up to it, but then I realised that I couldn't see it any more. I told the woman I was in a hurry and asked her if she saw a toy car passing by. I don't remember what she replied but then I saw the car and ran after it again.

It led me up a nearby street and entered a barber shop, in which a foot race had just taken place. The athletes were still sweaty and in their uniforms and the names of the winners were written on a poster on the storefront. I was apparently the winner.

Additional Comments:

First of all: The barber shop wasn't any bigger than you'd expect it, and a race took place inside? hehe. A race that I won without having taken place, nonetheless.

The city streets were pretty much as they are in reality, except that the street the car first led me down leads to a different part of the avenue than where it led me in the dream and that I don't know of any such barber shop in the area.
