I'm not sure what was wrong with me in this dream. I went to talk to Professor X and Magneto and they said it was all right for me to join their underground community of mutants. But it was kind of like that part of Interview with the Vampire where the French vampires go after Louis and Claudia for their sins even though Banderas-vampire (don't remember his name) liked them okay. I had the permission of the guys in charge, but when I went into the community, I was not welcomed.I was grabbed up by a group of mutants who grabbed my by the gums (owww!) and threw me into a small closet with a faucet in it. They turned on the water and left me in there. The door was not locked and there wasn't a ceiling to the closet (just to the room), so I climbed the narrow walls and seated myself near the top of the closet to where they just barely would see the top of my head if they looked. I decided then, listening to them talk about what they were going to do with me, to escape.
I jumped out, runnning as fast as I could. As a mutant, I was able to jump a little better than a regular human (so, like a fighting game character), I had a limited ability to pick myself up telekinetically, and I could shoot some sort of limited waves out of my hand (okay, I was a fighting game character--that's about it). I ran and jumped and tried to get away from them, but wound up caught by a woman who was in charge of a lot of things. She was taking me somewhere, and she had me on some sort of leash. I kept shouting that I had permission from Professor X and Magneto to be here. She didn't care and didn't believe me. I kept saying, "Just go ask him!" but it was useless.
She also had another individual in the room with her--a girl--and she went up to this girl and seriously ... changed her into a boy. For no good reason that I saw. She wanted to do the same with me--to change me into a boy too--but I exchanged a few thoughts with the other prisoner in the room and we decided to escape. I told her--now him--to run.
We ran, and as we ran through the underground mutant city, with myself running on low rooftops when necessary, I began asking pedestrians I found, "Where is the Professor?" I asked and asked and asked until someone told me, "Room three." I asked for a direction and they pointed. I went down the hallway and continued running because I was still being chased. I found the handicapped ramp was blocked off by a recliner that someone was moving, and I ran down the hall toward room 3 only to find that no one was there. I ducked out of the hall to ask where Magneto's room was, and was told it was next door. He wasn't there either.
So I started running back the other direction with this unfortunate other person who was being persecuted, and we ran and jumped through the city, trying to avoid capture. We were eventually captured, however, after being surrounded.
I don't know what happened after that, as I woke up.
