the weirdest dream about aliens I've ever had

I was watching a video with my nephews, when we had to stop and switch discs for some reason. In between doing that, the living suddenly filled up with a whole lot of strange people and babies in car seats that were turned toward the TV set.I said, "Oh, what cute babies! Whose are they?" But I actually felt a little perplexed, because I could no longer spot my nephews in amongst the crowd. Now I noticed, too, that there seemed to be deformed people that had no heads...packed in so tightly and lined up in rows, so that it looked like I wasn't going to be able to go back to where my nephews had been sitting, to look for them.
I panicked and starting clambering my way back through the deformed beings. But my foot awkwardly planted itself right in the middle of one of them that was all curled up, and it began to uncurl. I screamed in horror.
"What's the matter...you don't like the quadriplegics?" a doctor said to me. "And you don't like the babies?" The creature I'd stepped on was unfolding like some kind of bud on a large plant, and there was a lot of slime all about. Four heads popped up with eyes shut tightly, all very deformed. And my foot was stuck in the middle of its body.
I somehow twisted it out, and ran down the hallway toward the bedrooms, and the rest of my family (the assumption in the dream was that I was living with my parents and siblings again, not living singly as I now am). But in the family room, next to the other TV, were more deformed beings...these all appeared to be space aliens with very large heads and immobile eyes. One's head was beige with large pink polka dots all over it. They appeared to be paralyzed and just sitting in place.
I drew an imaginary line with my hand across the hallway. "This is a boundary!" I shouted. "You can't mingle with my family! Stay away from my family! Boundaries, boundaries!" I was almost hysterical. I woke up in a cold sweat.
