I've just returned from the capital city. It's evening; I'm walking down the dark street leading to the cinema for the evening seance. I've two tickets for two movies that start at the exact same time (probably 6 pm) that I've bought yesterday. I'm afraid I will be late for both of them.
I pass by a building I mistakenly take for the cinema; the actual cinema is right after it. Inside the building I meet Christopher, a man whom I've known birefly in real life. I'm a bit surprised to have met him in this place and we shake hands. I'm torn as to what to movie to watch; in fact both of them (one is a comedy that seems to be geared to children; I remember a poster showing animated characters resemblant of pieces of wardrobe against a prairie-like landscape) I find apalling, especially the comedy. In fact, there are some children in the cinema who also appear to be waiting for the comedy. I approach the poster and start tearing it down, but I don't remember why - perhaps to obtain some kind of information that is behind the poster. Soon afterwards, I wake up.

I'm wandering through the steets of my hometown. The sky is dark-bluish; it's dusk. I'm looking for a grocery where the female vendor is selling both the food and the music; just like me, she seems to be a fan of Loreena McKennit, and either plays it in her place, or makes it available for purchase. I enter the store but instead of her find a girl who doesn't share her older colleagues characteristics and tastes. I leave the shop and head for another one, where I'm hoping to find the woman in question.
As I'm walking accross the streets my thoughts seem to revolve, almost obsessively, around God; I ponder His absolute qualities, such as infinity and eternity. My thoughts are contrasted with the quiet, almost empty streets, bathed in dusk, through which I wander. This contrast is, as much as I remember, what shaped the atmosphere of the dream and made it unique.
Later on I've had another dream; I've been playing an RTS and fighting a battle against two of the most influential parties in my country - the far right and the central right. The far right had a small army, but together with the central right - who fought separately, but both against me - it made a powerful enemy.

I’m not sure about a life after this
God knows I've never been a spiritual man
Baptized by the fire, I wade into the river
That is runnin' to the promised land

The current prime minister of my country was elected a president - while remaining a prime minister. The election was followed by a coronation ceremony that seemed to take place near the elementary school in my hometown.
I remember standing on the road that passes by the school, leading into the forest. A crowd of people was headed into the forest; these were the people who attended the celebration. They all wore cloaks and hoods, which bestowed upon them an appearance of antiquity, even though - following the marching crowd - I could see that most of the people were young; among them I saw girls as young as my age. The atmosphere was one of merriment, and didn't at all seem to match the event they were celebrating.
The crowd marched towards the caves inside a mountain that does not exist in reality. A young man - naked to the waist - sat and beat a drum. All his body, save for his face, was smeared with mud, which made him look like he was made of stone, which for some reason made me feel hungry - I felt actually hugry for his flesh. Once the dancing and the music were over, we made it up to the top of the mountain and out of the cave, where some kind of ancient peope once had their fortress or their dwelling. In the dream it seemed as if I knew something about them - perhaps confusing them for an actual tribe that used to live in the territory of my country, but then became extint. I recalled that they were forced to live in harsh conditions, and that what I seen inside of their fortress - or the ruins that were left of it - reflected that.
The next dream had me walking with my mother in the vicinity of the Reagans Circle. In reality the Reagans Circle is an underground passage linked to several tram-stops, a tram-station of sorts or a design trying to imitate a train station. In the dream it was night, and the Reagan's Circle was a maze of twisting, seemingly endless underground passages. I remember there were three of us walking - me, my mother and someone alse, perhaps my father, but I can't remember correctly. My mother suddenly split from us, disappearing into one of the dark corridors. "That's her habit", I though in the dream, slightly irritated, looking around in attempt to find where she was gone.

Had bad sleep tonight; I woke up feeling quite surprised I've slept and dreamed.
