I dreamt that my partner and I were invited to the party of an old friend, that her and her mother were hosting for her son.
It was being held in the room of a school.
In the room where the party was being held, it was dark, with no lights on at all - so it looked quite grey, and not very pretty. There was a stage, for the magician to do their act, and chairs for people to sit down and watch.
I didn't really catch the old friend to stop and talk with her, but as I was walking out of the room, she walked over to her mother who was at the catering table preparing all the food.
I went for a wander around the school, to check out the work each of the classes had been doing.
