[lucid assignment:  let the dream direct itself, and just go along with the plot as an extra would ... but don't let on that your goal is to passively observe the dream and "absorb" any energy in the dream that seems appropriate.  If necessary, fool other dream characters into thinking you're not lucid by acting the way they expect you to act]

This guy I had a crush on in real life almost 20 years ago has resurfaced.  Someone is telling me about him, though, and about how his life has gone downhill -- they tell me he weighs 300 pounds now and has severe psychological problems (I've lost track of him in real life, so I don't have any way of knowing if there's any truth to this).

I go back to unpacking my things that are stowed in something like a trailer shell by the side of the road. There's a shift, and the trailer shell is now a jumbo jet that I'm on with my family.  I'm still working with my stuff, for I'm trying to prepare for landing.

But when I look out the windows I see that we are landing in the main street of a small town at a very high speed.

I wonder if it's an emergency landing.  Suddenly, though, I become lucid and turn to the rest of the people on the plane.

"This has to be a dream!" I say.  "There's no way a jet would land in the middle of a little place like this."

However, I immediately lose my lucidity.  The plane comes to a stop and the crew wants us to leave, but my stuff is still everywhere in the overhead compartments and under the seats.  I frantically try to locate all of it (if I had still been lucid I would have just said, "Oh well!").

I wake up.
