I was in a bare room in an underground complex in a rainforest, but whether African or South American I don't know. I think I might have been a captive there, I'm not certain. There were others there, I knew, but not in my immediate presence. The walls, floors, and ceilings of this structure were all white and lit by long flourescent lights.

I heard a loud noise, and then the power went out. I went to investigate and found that a camoflaged hummer with a canvas-covered bed had crashed through a wall of the complex. I went back quickly to find someone I knew inside. I had to walk past a couple of rooms down a corridor which was parallel to the outer wall that the truck had hit, and, hearing noises, suspected there might be further interior damage.

I found the woman and told her about the accident, and she went to check on it. On my way back I stopped in one of the rooms I had passed. It was a luxuriant bedroom that I saw in the near-dark, with dark cream walls and deep red blankets and furnishings. A corner was falling apart, and through it I could see the jungle and a part of the hummer. I passed through the bedroom to an equally rich bathroom whose ivory sink was cracked in several places and overflowing with unclean water. I managed to cut the water off, but the red ruffled rugs were soaked.

I pushed my way outside of the complex through the crack in the corner of the bedroom, and saw several large predatory animals milling about, including a lion. I gathered that they had been inside of the truck. There were several people as well, apparently delighted at the menagerie and talking about the animals as though they were in a zoo, but I began to worry. I thought that at any moment the animals would snap the people up, because who knew how long it had been since they had eaten?

I knew that there were crates full of smaller animals somewhere inside the complex, as they were used for some sort of testing purpose. I decided to go and let them loose, to provide a distraction and more appropriate food source for the carnivorous creatures outside.

I began walking. Apparently the power outage was confined to my section, because the crates were somewhere deep in the complex, and I walked and walked along bright white corridors for a long time. Several minutes of walking later I still hadn't reached my destination, and I started to feel vaguely uneasy. What if when I returned everyone was dead? It couldn't be helped, really, and I was doing what I could. So I kept walking, walking, walking.

Then I woke up.
