I dreamt that some people came to my house, except it wasn't my house, it was the house my parents used to live in. It was 1 woman and 2 men. The woman was nice but the men weren't, especially the young man who was barely more than a teenager. I found out that they were there to shut off my telephone.
I waited for them to give me a chance to pay the bill before they shut it off, but they didn't give me one. I ran to get my checkbook to see if my husband had written out a check. Then I would tell them that we had paid and they would recieve the check within the next few days. I saw that he had written out a check and ran back to show it to them. The young man was very snarly and told me that this proved nothing and besides, we were supposed to write it out to SBC, not AT&T. This didn't seem right to me and besides that, I thought that he was just looking for reasons to be critical.
There was a huge truck in the garage which belonged to the woman. At first I thought it was mine, but she said it was hers. I felt embarassed because I realized that it made me appear very weird to not even know if a truck was mine or not. There were bugs splattered all over the grill and we talked about how the insects were so bad this year.
I decided to go into my online bank account to see if the amout was credited, which by the way, was $536. My computer was outside in back by where the old barn used to be. It was turned off and to show that it was not on, it had blinds on it. There was a cow and it walked over to me and stuck it's face in my face. It's mouth looked really funny because it was chewing. I didn't want it in front of me so I ducked my head so that it was behind me instead and it was nuzzling and bumping the top of my head. I thought it was funny but I wanted to get on the computer and it was interfering so I said something to the lady who owned it. (She had magically appeared by this time.)
I said in a joking manner, "Your cow really likes me." or "I guess your cow wants to use the computer!" or something to that effect. I was hoping that she would apologize for her cow bothering me and get it away from me but she seemed to think that really wanted the cow there and enjoyed it bumping against the top of my head while I was trying to use the computer.
Additional Comments:
At&T keeps calling me because they haven't gotten our check yet. I don't answer the phone because I know they will get it soon and it is one of those annoying computer programs where you have to talk to the computer man.
My cat always bothers me on the computer. I guess in this dream the cow was my cat.
