My cousin, Erin, had been visiting and it was time for her to go home. I drove her to a gas station. The town in this dream was dark and dreary, like a town stressed by war or something. It felt abandoned, windows were blacked out, no one was out on the streets. I pulled up to the gas station and a man wanted to wash my windshield (for a fee). I told him "sure" and he was surprised and told me that most people tell him that washing windshields is unnecessary. I went in to pay for the gas and the cashier was my highschool friend, Gena, and the store was full of other people I went to highschool with. Gena confronted me about not keeping in touch with her. I felt so bad. I explained to her why I don't keep in touch all the while I was crying and feeling sad because I really do want to be close friends, but just cant. So, I pay and go back out and tip the windshield guy. Then it was time for me to tell Erin goodbye. We hug and kiss.
