Dreamt that I was standing next to a 2 lane road in a rural area. A woman parks her car in the grassy field behind me and gets out, carrying a small demon baby bundled up in a blue blanket. She runs up to the road and as I see a semi come roaring up the road I expect her to either jump in front of it holding the baby or throw the baby in front of the truck. Instead she waits for the truck to pass and then runs across the street with the baby to a small house. While I stand there another demon baby comes running from the same direction. This one is small and skinny, wrapped in a red blanket like a hood. It has big bulging eyes and is breathing raspily, having been left behind by the woman and sniffing her out and running after her. It stops by me but doesn't seem to see me, sees the house across the road and runs over to it. I don't see it enter the house but I'm sure that it does. I go into the house to find the woman, but realize she's upstairs asleep with the small bundled demon baby. The front room is nicely furnished and the shades are drawn. There are cats on some of the couches and tables. It's some sort of halfway house for people in trouble, just passing through. I can't figure out how to tell the lady behind the front desk about the demon babies without sounding like I'm crazy, so I sit down on one of the couches and wait for the woman upstairs to wake up.
The whole thing looked like a horror movie out of the 70s, down to the color of everything and the sports car the woman with the demon baby was driving, set somewhere in the American west.
