Analysis for: unwanted help

Feelings about the particular car. In other words, is it efficient, do you feel good in it? Such feelings give a clue to how you feel about the way you deal with your drive to fulfil you ambitions or decisions.

The car can also be your ideas, ambitions, drives, ideals, desires that get you somewhere in life. Therefore it can define the strategies or techniques, the attitudes you use in your life to achieve things.

Often we have feelings of status, social standing in connection with our car too, so you need to ask yourself if these are a part of what your car dream indicates.

The way you drive your car, if it is handling well, refer to whether you feel in control of your life, your energies, such as sex drive, anger, ambition, etc. Are you exhibiting self control or lack of it, in driving?

CUTTING

This can mean several things depending upon what and how something is cut in your dream. If it is an object, like clothing or paper, why did you cut it? Was it anger or to destroy, to use it in another way? The answer to the question gives you the meaning of the action.

Cutting can also suggest severing connections, to cut off sympathy or affections, or to injure, or desire to injure. It may represent your sexual desires that through the pain associated with being let down or ill treated, leads you to cut off your love. Can also mean reducing in importance or impact.

DUMB

Inability to express inner feelings. It can indicate s blockage against allowing something deep inside to surface, perhaps through fear, shame or pain.

FEAR

To feel fear in a dream means that you have not yet developed abilities to cope with what is shown as causing the fear. One of the wonderful things about dreams is that they gradually show you how to deal with such anxieties, or enable you to safely experiment. See Carrying the Dream Forward.

INSIDE

An inside pocket, inside a house, tree, car, most often represents your inner self, or your sense of self, your inner feelings.

LOOK

Nearly everything in your dreams is about seeing or looking. But if looking is emphasised it suggests something you should pay attention to, or is important in some way. But it may imply searching or longing for something.

PASSENGER

If in a car, it suggests you are being driven by something, or perhaps someone else’s opinion or influence. It might show your dependence on other people’s decisions, energy or drive. Or are you just relaxing?

PEOPLE

Several people in a dream usually represent social contact with others or that various parts of you are involved in the dream issue.

Try to define what your relationship with the people is, and this will clarify what the dream is portraying.

RUNNING

Trying to escape from an emotion or fear, perhaps a past event that has left difficult feelings - or hastening to something. A sense of hurry or urgency, but it can also be exuberance and life energy.

TELEPHONE

This is nearly always about feelings to do with communication or connection, and so deals with relationship in one way or another. If it is you receiving a call rather that making it, and you do not answer, it may suggest you are unwilling to listen to your inner feelings or intuitive advice, or that you are avoiding a relationship.

WALKING

In dreams one often walks along a lane, or up stairs, or through a stream, or across a field. Walking usually depicts you expressing your energy, your potential, to get somewhere or achieve something through your own efforts. Your surroundings in the dream suggest your feelings or attitudes at the present; and the future is represented by where you are going. If you are walking backwards, it suggests a wrong attitude, or observing your past – where you have come from.
