Ladybugs in my Skin

I was looking in the mirror and noticed a few red bumps on the top of my left ear. I pulled my hair back to get a closer look and discovered the bumps ran all along the top half of the ear, getting larger the farther they were from my face. The largest were growing flower buds and one was just starting to blossum - the pink petals were separating and I could see the sepals inside.*
I went to consult my mom, but when I pulled my hair away to show her my bizarre affliction, my hand brushed the front row of buds and caused a domino effect, causing all of them to fall out. They made a popping sound as they pulled out of my skin, similar to the noise a suction cup makes when the seal is broken. Each bud left a cavity where it had been. My mom exclaimed that the bumps must have been ladybug egg sacs under the skin.
Disgusted, I tipped my head to the side and began screaming as ladybugs fell out of the cavities in large numbers. Their exoskeletons made gross noises as they hit the pavement below. Then to my horror, ladybugs starting falling down my throat and into my mouth. I screamed, coughed and spit them out to prevent them from crawling down my esophagous. I woke up out of disgust and terror.
Additional Comments:
* This is incorrect flower anatomy, but in my dream it made sense. Also, the buds looked like those from a Rose of Sharon bush.
